Requirements

• Senior SD4 engineer/Principal Engineer/ Architect who has led or been part of platform teams inside a large/mid tech company
• Deep expertise working with any of the programming languages to write maintainable, scalable, unit-tested code.Python experience is a bonus - but not required
• Good understanding of REST APIs and the web in general and ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion
• Experience with Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Load Balancing
• Experience in building a platform team on AWS for Product based companies/start-ups

What You’ll Do

• Build the core technology platform, including Automated provisioning of infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring of services
• Build a central services directory within an organization that shows the cost and health of all services and makes the management of microservices extremely easy
• This involves working with core infrastructure and understanding them in great detail - like Kubernetes, ServiceMesh, Service security
• Mentor/coach engineers to facilitate their development and provide technical leadership

Engineering:

Responsibilities :

● Research, design and build highly reliable, available, and scalable solutions that can
handle Millions of API calls across systems.
● Own large technical deliverables and execute in a structured manner, complete
ownership of functional Services that your team is responsible for.
● Take the accountability of the overall health of the products you build and
predictability of the deliverables of your team
● Lead by example, mentor and guide team members on everything from structured
problem solving to development of best practices
● Platformize components as libraries, utilities and servicify and promote reuse.
● Be able to conceptualize and develop prototypes quickly
● Drive the technical roadmap of the team in collaboration with Product and Business
Teams.

Requirements:

● BTech, MTech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent).
Or high technical acumen and rich technical experience.
● Deep expertise with any or combination programming languages: Java, Node.js,
Golang, JavaScript, any object-oriented high-level proprietary or open-source
language with strong programming constructs. Substantial experience in building
complex and scalable solutions.
● Strong object-oriented design skills, ability to apply design patterns, and ability to
design intuitive module and class-level interfaces
● The ability to independently lead problem-solving and build elegant, maintainable
solutions to complex problems.
● Experience leading multi-engineer projects and mentoring junior engineers
● Experience with full life cycle development in any programming language on a Linux
platform
● Prior experience in working with Agile software methodologies ( Scrum, Kanban),
TDD, and Continuous Integration(CI/CD) a plus.
● Experience in building data-driven web application design and development is a plus
● Expert level experience in building a scalable, large, and complex business
application using some of the above technologies and mentoring junior engineers.
● Track record of building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software
systems

- Good experience with programming language Python
- Strong experience in Docker.
- Good knowledge with any of the Cloud Platform like Azure.
- Must be comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Must have exposure into IOT domain and its protocols ((Zigbee,BLE ,LoRa, Modbus)

Your work will involve: - Build highly scalable Java based applications - In the 1st phase, understand the first product that has been built externally; iterate and optimise it based on customer feedback - In the next phase, work on introducing pivotal new features in the existing product - Contribute to instating the early internal security policies - Contribute in building the initial data infrastructure to process and consume the growing streams of data - In the final phase, build and launch new products that encompass the multiple financial services requirements of the end user on a single platform Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in Java; at least two years of professional experience (preferably in a consumer product startup) - 1-2 years of experience in software development on the AWS Lambda micro-services architecture and NoSQL databases is mandatory - Familiarity with multiple layers of infrastructure and application stack - UI, application layer, database - Comfortable dealing with operational aspects like reporting, and infrastructure sizing - Preferably have experience with interfacing with external systems like Aadhaar, CIBIL, Social network sites, payment gateways etc. - Need to be high energy and be able to work under pressure. Job Description:
