Strong Software Engineer, Engineering Manager Profiles

Mandatory (Experience) – Must have minimum 4+ years of hands on experience in software development

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related field is preferred.

• Must have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in PostgreSQL.

• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintaining the Database, creating efficient queries, and understanding and improving the current database structure.

• Develop new modules, patches & Updates/upgrades for an existing application (developed in house by the client)

• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.

• Maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.

• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.

• Write well-designed, testable code.

• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.

• Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.

Good to Have Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in using Java/J2EE tech stacks
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced internet start-up environment.
• Experience in technical mentorship/coaching is highly desirable.

• Experience with tools like Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar, JaCoCo, Karma, Jasmine

• Must be involved in customer interactions for requirement gathering and solution designing discussions

Responsibilities

• Understand existing business operations tool used by customer support and business teams.
• Work with Engineering Manager to upgrade the system to improve system stability and response times.
• Independently lead design and implement new features as per business requirements provided by Product Management team.
• Develop elegant, modular and maintainable solutions. Document all design, operations steps for knowledge sharing purposes.
• Guide junior team members on feature implementation and provide relevant training on existing modules.

Thingworx Developer/Sr Developer

Required experience range between 3-6 years.

· Thingworx Navigate experience desired

· Languages - Java, JavaScript & CSS

· Experience in Core Java, Java collections & Oops Concept

· Databases – MySQL, MS-SQL

· Having good working knowledge with XML, JSON.

· Design and Application development using Thingworx version - (8.2,8.5,9.X)

· ThingWorx service creation using JavaScript

· Develop ThingWorx extension using Java

· ThingWorx service creation using Java Extension

· ThingWorx mashups design and development

· Data storage in ThingWorx - Stream/Value Stream/Data Tables

· Integration with source/target system using REST API, data Files.

· Familiar with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)

· Thingworx Integration with 3rd apps preferred and will be added advantage

• Strong understanding of SQL databases
• Proficient knowledge of various authentication methods like JWT, OAuth etc..
• Perform peer code reviews and Code audit - Analyze existing code and remediate performance issues within existing applications
