Roles & Responsibilities

● Complete ownership of the components that one works on - starting from
architecture design to monitoring metrics post deployment
Strong bias for action with a problem solving mindset. Meeting current
requirements or resolving issues while keeping bigger picture in mind.
● Thinking big while designing components. Keeping in mind that if we build our
current version for x users, it will be 10x within a year & 100x within 1.5 years
hands on experience in software development with excellent
problem-solving skills.
● Hands on experience on building highly-available, scalable systems.
● Expertise in Java with data structures, algorithms, spring, hibernate skills.
● Knowledge of NoSQL, MongoDB, caching data stores, queuing and search.
● Proficiency in computer science fundamentals: Object oriented design, data
structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
● Good with the design patterns and architecture solution to large scale
applications.
● Nice to have: Cassandra, Kafka, Aerospike development experience with highly
scalable and performant software systems.

You'd be designing internal and public facing REST APIs for various components of the platform. This will be an opportunity for you to work across multiple technologies and domains. You should have: 2-6 years of experience building web applications and RESTful APIs Experience in designing scalable micro-services required Sound knowledge of Python and Django, familiarity with Linux and git Deep understanding of how RESTful APIs work Familiarity with HTML / CSS and templating systems, Redis, RabbitMQ, NGINX preferred Bonus - Preliminary knowledge of any one of these languages - Golang / JavaScript / Lua Responsibilities Our ideal Candidate: You are a problem solver and have a drive for results. 3. Develop and support middle ware applications using Java / Open Source

4. Provide second level support to fixes and solutions for issues in production

5. Enhance and maintain applications and components for Liquidity functions.

6. Experience in Designing scalable solutions

7. Engineering architecture, platform configuration, and documentation experience.

8. Knowledge of modern development lifecycles, such as Agile and iterative development

9. Knowledge of Biodata with HBase and spark is an added advantage

10. Collaborate with BA, QA and PM team members for effective testing and delivery.

Requirements :

1. 5+ years of experience in core Java

2. Experience in Spring MVC, Spring Boot

3. Strong database and data management experience in relational databases

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Desired Qualifications

5. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular.js

6. Experience in event-driven workflow processing using Kafka, ActiveMQ, or Netflix OSS or similar

You'll be expected to
1. Design highly scalable, testable code and follow Test Driven Development methodology - Able to write well organised, modularised code with test cases.
* Apart from writing code *
1. Take ownership of new products/features.
2. Contribute to the design and architecture of our backend APIs and deployment of microservices
3. Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and maintain the overall quality of our codebase.
4. Mentor and assist younger members of the team and perform code reviews.
5. Work with the product team to translate powerful ideas into everyday business value.

Qualifications
* Will prefer a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
* Development experience with Java is a must; If you know Python and Go Programming Language that's great
* Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases with an insight into various data modelling use cases
* Sound with data structures and algorithms and have a good understanding of design patterns, software architectures
* Unquenching thirst to learn new technologies.
* Experience with CI/CD is a plus

*) 7+ years of strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies (Core Java, Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, JPA, Microservices)
*) Experience with working on Java 8.0 and its emerging road map for 11
*) Hands on experience in Springboot and good knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB
*) Hands on experience in working with Angular 6 and above. Experience working with product management and UI/UX designers having knowledge of advanced Javascript, JQuery
*) Working knowledge on components, modules, data/event bindings, templates, using and creating directives, writing routes, services, forms and models
*) Solid understanding of the full frontend and backend development life cycle
