Application Developer (UI)

Responsibilities:

         User Interface Development:

●     Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly web and mobile user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

●     Ensure consistent and pixel-perfect implementation of UI designs across different browsers and devices.

         Optimization:

●     Optimize UI code and assets for performance, speed, and scalability.

●     Implement responsive design principles for seamless user experiences on various screen sizes.

         Cross-Functional Collaboration:

●     Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts and wireframes into functional web interfaces.

●     Collaborate with product managers, back-end developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products.

         Testing and Debugging:

●     Perform testing and debugging to identify and resolve front-end issues and ensure a smooth user experience.

●     Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Candidate Profile:

         Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.

         Front-End Development Skills:

●     Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

●     Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.

         Experience: Previous experience in front-end development, with a portfolio demonstrating your skills and projects you've worked on.

         Cross-Browser Compatibility: Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.

         Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot front-end issues effectively.

         Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

         Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

FrontEnd Developer

Introduction-:

Synapsica is a growth stage HealthTech startup founded by alumni from IIT Kharagpur, AIIMS New Delhi, and IIM Ahmedabad. We believe healthcare needs to be transparent and objective, while being affordable. Every patient has the right to know exactly what is happening in their bodies and they don’t have to rely on cryptic 2 liners given to them as diagnosis. Towards this aim, we are building an artificial intelligence enabled cloud based platform to analyse medical images and create v2.0 of advanced radiology reporting. We are backed by YCombinator and other investors from India, US and Japan. We are proud to have GE, AIIMS, the Spinal Kinetics as our partners.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate, self-starting, competent professional who is comfortable with all aspects of software development in FrontEnd. What will you do:

• Responsible for  developing, testing and maintaining the  front-end of the product interface.
  
  
• Interacting with APIs and middlewares through Front-end action items.

• Owning and delivering end-to-end products, features, enhancements

• Write clean, well-documented and functional code with unit test cases.

Required Skills and Technologies

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 3-7 years of experience.
• Proficiency with VanillaJS, html and css, and fundamental front-end libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, Vue.JS, .
• Hands on with React.JS or similar frontend framework/library.
• Well versed with UI and UX.
• Good to have knowledge of CI/CD tools.
• Hands on with investigating and fixing technical bottlenecks and performance assessment and improvement.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Prior experience with at least one no-sql database such as MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• High sense of ownership along with deep interest and passion for technology.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with one of the top frontend frameworks - React (preferred)/ Angular / Vue
• Solid understanding of modern CSS methodologies like SCSS, SASS
• Exposure to latest developments in UI development like PWA, Single Page Apps, Hybrid Apps, Responsive web design etc
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, HTTP 2, Socket Connections
• Deep understanding of Javascript topics including the V8 Engine, Async, Memory Management, Duplex Communication.
• Experienced in Unit / Integration / Visual Testing.
• Ability to develop pixel-perfect web pages from designs
• Prior startup experience is a plus

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of this position is to work under prototype team, to develop/maintenance the current system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

QUALIFICATION

• Hands on technical resource.

• You’ve got good experience working on web applications
• You have a clear knowledge and hands-on with ES6+ and you know AngularJS, Vue or React/React-Native
• Advanced knowledge in AngularJS, VueJS and CSS with material design styles guide
• Basic knowledge of NodeJS
• Basic understanding on Progressive Web Applications will be well appreciated
• Advanced knowledge in WebPack and other basic tools to work with Javascript nowadays (Git, npm, etc ...)
• Knowledge and experience in the development of unit tests for VueJS (no matter the library or framework)
• Good Knowledge on Optimizing performance and browser compatibility is always at the top of your mind
