Role: Angular Developer

Positions: 4

• Experience 3 to 5 years
• Strong front-end development skills, experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks mainly Angular JS Preferably Version 7 or Version 5
• Experience working with server-side JavaScript Frameworks and build tools (node.js, bower, grunt, gulp)
• Demonstrable experience developing large-scale applications using one or more MV* patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP)
• Expertise in developing single page web applications using front-end routing, consuming JSON-based RESTful APIs, client-side templating
• Strong competency in responsive layouts leveraging CSS and media queries and related UI frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation)
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS)
• Experience with code analysis tools (e.g., JSLint, JSPerf)
• Practical knowledge of web page optimization techniques and guidelines for fast page load times
• Strong understanding of Ajax and/or promises
• Experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with a distributed version control system (git, mercurial)
• Experience writing unit tests in one or more of the following: karma, mocha, chai, sinon, jasmine, jest
• Experience working on AWS. Basic understanding of Security Groups/ VPC etc.
• Experience on working with & integrating with microservices
• Experience on developing/ using CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins/ Git

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the design and backend team to build and develop web applications for our forward-thinking products.
• Design large-scale systems with high complexity to support our high throughput applications.
• Understand how to leverage infrastructure for solving such large-scale problems.
• Develop tools and contribute to open source wherever possible.
• Adopt problem-solving as a way of life - always go to the root cause.
• Develop scalable front-end engineering, for the largest FinTech companies in India who use our product.
• Actively think about improving UX and UI.
• Collaborate with the team to discuss and implement ideas.
• Build responsive, robust, and optimized applications.

• Professional development experience with Angular 10
• At least 1-2 years of JavaScript development experience for web applications.
• Strong eye for design, UI, and UX.
• Passion for front-end development.
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.

• Work with the client and internal web development team to design new products or enhancements.
• Take part in system development including analysis, coding, and testing in an agile product development team.
• To develop business requirements into cost-effective and elegant technical solutions.
• Perform peer design and code reviews with other software engineers.
• Help to evaluate requirements and solutions from a technical perspective and implement custom built solutions. 
• Perform estimates of user stories that are to be implemented to help with product engineering planning.
• Work with backend development members to co-create APIs for frontend consumption
• Mentor less experienced team members on proper standards/techniques to improve their development practices and efficiency.
• Write scripts to perform unit testing, functional testing and assist with user acceptance testing support.
• Optimize UI for efficiency and maintainability
• Perform non-production and production deployment processes as scheduled.
• Provide on-going support to the application.

You’ll be a good fit if you:

• Have 1+ years of experience developing user facing features
• Have a deep understanding of basic UI/UX/design principles
• Are self-motivated and can solve problems independently
• Experience leveraging web technologies like HTML, CSS, and Javascript(ES6)
• Experience using the latest CSS layout methods such as Flexbox and Grid
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Node.js ecosystem and leveraging Javascript libraries / frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest) and writing unit tests
• Competency in building responsive layouts
• Practical knowledge of performance optimization techniques
• Collaboration in a GitHub repository with many contributors and comfortable with workflows like code reviews, forking, pull requests, etc.
