Angular Developer

Role Summary:

As a Senior UI Developer, you will be responsible for building intuitive, high-performance, and

responsive user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You’ll work closely with

our UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create web experiences that

deliver value to our users and business alike.

Key Responsibilities:

● Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting.

● Collaborate with product managers and designers to craft user-centric features and

interfaces.

● Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

● Ensure applications meet performance, accessibility, and responsiveness standards.

● Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements to existing codebase

and design patterns.

● Develop and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using Angular

(preferably Angular 13+).

● Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

● Apply design principles to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing UIs aligned with

brand guidelines.

Required Skills:

● 6+ years of web development experience.

● 3+ years of hands-on experience in Angular development (Angular 8+ mandatory,

Angular 13+ preferred).

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

● Familiarity on state management with RxJS, NgRx, and RESTful APIs integration.

● Sound understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and

accessibility standards.

● Experience with SASS/SCSS, Bootstrap, Material, or other CSS frameworks.

● Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO basics for SPAs.

● Solid grasp of web design principles including layout, typography, color theory, and

usability.

● Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.

● Experience in the travel tech domain is a strong plus.

Good to Have:

● Experience with Node.js, Express JS, MongoDB.

● Understanding of internationalization/localization in web apps.

Experience  4-6 yrs (Sr developer ) 6-8 yrs (Lead)

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with design, product, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules and maintainability of the code.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize the app usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• Review and Optimize application usage, by monitoring key metrics, for maximum speed and scalability
• Mentoring and guiding the team members.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, Angular Developer or front-end engineer.
• Sound knowledge in HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
• Proficient with Typescript (Angular 2 & above)
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
• Passionate to create good design and usability
• A team player with excellent communication skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
• 2+ years' experience in frontend development.
• Proficient understanding of HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Deep knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with one or more frameworks, such as Angular, React, or Knockout.
• Experience with TypeScript, ES6/ES2015 a plus.
• Familiarity with Node.js, npm, and build systems such as webpack, Grunt, or gulp a plus.
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

1. Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code
2. Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation Techniques
3. Experience with RESTful services
4. Experience in JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulp
5. Expert in Angular, TypeScript, Angular Material and Server Side Rendering (SSR)
6. Hand on and implements complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, services and components, create the same from scratch
7. Experience in Third Party integrations like Payment Gateway, Facebook, Gmail and any other Google APIs
8. Knowledge of state management tools such, NgRx, Redux
