What You’ll Do

• Build & ship: Design, develop, test, and maintain fast, stable Android apps used in real-world field conditions.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver scalable, impactful features.
• Optimize: Continuously refactor and optimize code for performance and long-term maintainability.
• Delight users: Build intuitive UI using Jetpack Compose, animations, and state management techniques.
• Debug & resolve: Troubleshoot critical bugs, resolve performance bottlenecks, and keep the crash-free rate high.
• Integrate: Seamlessly connect with third-party APIs, SDKs, and external services.
• Automate: Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.
• Stay current: Explore new tools, libraries, and Android trends; share insights with the team.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of Android app development experience, with at least one app published to the Play Store.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow.
• Deep experience with Jetpack Compose, including animations, state, and theming.
• Familiarity with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and separation of concerns.
• Experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
• Strong understanding of unit and UI testing tools (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality code.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Flutter or cross-platform development.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or backend development in Node.js, Django, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring and analytics tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Analytics).

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Design components by translating product requirements, break down projects into tasks, and provide accurate estimates. Build scalable and reliable technology solutions at a rapid pace
• Work on native Android as well as Angular tech stack while keeping performance goals in mind
• Independently come up with different solutions, extensible Low-level design. Write modular, extensible, readable, and performant code

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Must have Working Experience in a product-based organization for at least 18 months.
• At least 2+ years experience and hands-on with mobile technologies

• Work well under pressure and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality 
• Work with distributed development teams 
• Ability to resolve problems with support and must understand the mobile ecosystem and its limitations.
• Understand Android Architecture components, strong fundamentals in Android technologies, and aware of new Android changes

SKILLS  REQUIRED 

• Experience with kotlin is a must
• Knowledge of mvvm architecture/ android architecture components
• Knowledge of Rxjava and coroutines for multithreading
• Knowledge of retrofit/okhttp for making HTTP calls
• Knowledge of dependency injection using dagger2
• Knowledge of android framework components like services, fragments, intent services
• Knowledge of sql required 
• Experience in offline data management
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code 

• 2-5 years of professional Android Application development experience.
• Experience in designing, development, and REST API Integration of Android Applications using Dart, Java, or Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of android, and handling of multiple screen sizes.

Responsibilities

Required Technical Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in the development and maintenance of consumer-facing high traffic android applications with a desire to work in growing fast-paced startups.
• Worked on applications from scratch. Well versed with building apps for various screen density and sizes.
• Up to date on upcoming trends in android and its ecosystem with respect to design, architecture etc.
• Experience in optimizing all important parameters like network utilization, application size and battery.
• Experience with kotlin, coroutines, dagger, retrofit, rx-android and android architecture components etc.
• Understanding of MVVM or MVP architecture to maintain separation of concerns.
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented design concepts and algorithms.
• Experience with version control like SVN/Git
