Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Engineer with extensive database design experience to join our team. As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using the .NET framework. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing complex database solutions using the EF Core framework that support these applications.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework and database solutions using Entity Framework Core
• Create and maintain data models and schema designs using best practices and industry standards
• Develop and implement database security measures to protect sensitive data
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets specifications
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and database design
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers

Personal Qualities, Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development using the .NET framework and database design and development using Entity Framework Core
• Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, design patterns and microservice architecture.
• Experience with database design, including data modeling and schema design
• Experience with MySQL Server or other relational database management systems
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Manage different versions of complicate code and distribute them to different teams in the organization utilizing TFS.
• Develop an ASP.Net application to input and manage a production schedule, production statistical analysis and trend reporting.
• Create routines for importing data utilizing XML, CSV and comma delimitate files.
• Filter and cleanse OLTP data with complex store procedures and SSIS packages in the staging area.
• Develop a dimensional database and OLAP cube using SSAS for analysis, maintenance and good customer service.
• Involve in development and implementation of SSIS, SSRS and SSAS application solutions for various business units across the organization.
• Extract the data from XML and load it to dimensional model.
• Maintain SQL scripts, indexes, complex queries for data analysis and extraction.
• Create advanced reports like dashboard and scoreboard using SharePoint and power pivot for better presentation of data.
• Create cubes in SSAS reports which require complex calculations such as calculation of the premium for a particular policy.
• Create SharePoint sub sites, lists, libraries, folders and apply site permissions according to the given requirement.
• Work with business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements.
• Develop T-SQL functions and store procedures to support complex business requirements.
• Create and configure an OLTP replication database for disaster recovery purpose.
• Designed/Implemented/Maintain OLAP servers and processes to replicate production data to the server.

We are looking for highly motivated engineers with the following skillset-

• Engineering degree in Computer science or ECE or MCA is a must
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
• Experience using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc. - any 1 is required
• VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS - knowledge of any 1 is required
• Between 1-5 years of work experience is required
• Very strong data structure and algorithm knowledge
• Ideal candidate would be a very strong developer with great coding skills
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work through ambiguous requirements and come up with a clear scope and problem statement

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidance for one of the fastest-growing company in India

- Translate business requirements into scalable and extensible design

- Pair with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements and spread design philosophy, goals and improve the code quality across the team

- Partner with the product management team to define and execute the feature roadmap

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mobile, UX etc.) on planning and execution

- Proactively manage stakeholder communication related to deliverables, risks, changes and dependencies

- The building of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Experience and Skills :

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying applications on Node.JS for large scale applications.

- Strong proficiency with JavaScript

- Understanding of Asynchronous Request handling techniques.

- Deep knowledge of Linux : CentOS, Fedora, or Ubuntu

- Data modeling experience in Relational and NoSQL databases(MONGO DB)

- Ability to understand and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

- Well versed with Agile methodologies, TDD and Test Engineering and Automation

- Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services

- Experience troubleshooting server performance - memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks, etc.

- Excellent understanding of interactive application development paradigm, memory management, performance/resource optimizations, database interactions, network programming, concurrency and multithreading, fault tolerance, monitoring, security and operability of systems

- Continuously refactor applications to ensure high-quality design

- Ability to plan, prioritize, estimate and execute releases with a good degree of predictability
