Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead by the principle of "customer first" to analyse, debug, develop, and maintain customer-centric software.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to analyse, debug and fix issues with high quality code, zero regressions, scalable, innovative technical solutions.

• Optimizing components for maximum performance and scalability

• Participates in R&D, Proof of Concepts, Prototyping, Code review, Root Causing, etc.

• At least 2-3 yrs of experience in taking full ownership of software development lifecycle including planning, design, architecture, development, test & deployment. And 2+ years of experience in supporting production or customer issues and escalations.

• Review and analyze support tickets that are complex in nature and require more technical knowledge to analyze. Investigate issues to identify root causes and document findings clearly.

• Influences the development practices so that they follow best practices, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure software products meet all non-functional requirements including operational and security needs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills.

• Address complex technical challenges within software systems, ensuring robustness, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

• Contribute to knowledge base

• Support the Lead and Mentor the team of software engineers and own the technical health of the service the team is working on.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development with expertise in core Java, JDK, data structures, and multithreading.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and fixes • Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture, and best practices

• Familiarity with server technologies, including Tomcat and WebLogic.

• Proficiency in working with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL

• Experience with messaging queues, particularly JMS MQ or Artemis MQ.

• Possess exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues across the entire, cross-functional technology stack

• Awareness / exposure to debugging Frontend applications (ReactJS / .Net) is a good to have.

• Exposure to Kubernetes, containerization and cloud (AWS) technologies in building scalable, resilient, and distributed environments.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and in production customer sensitive environments.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. Quick learner.

• Experience and knowledge in working in the HRP application – specifically the Claims functionality. Added experience in other areas including Enrollment, Billing, Financials is a plus. Candidate must have worked previously in HRP

• Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira, SalesForce) and production support workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in Web API development.
• Experience in Agile / SCRUM development process.
• Good to have experience in Domain driven design development and Microservice architecture.

• Good to have knowledge and experience in ABP.IO framework, Angular 8+, PostgreSQL and AWS cloud service and CI/CD process.

• Design, develop, implement, test and support new Sitecore 8.2 features defined by business project team.
• Participate in discussions with product owner to refine requirements.
• Work with the rest of the development team, helping where appropriate

• Certified senior or semi-senior Sitecore developer with 4+ years Supporting and Developing Sitecore solutions (must have)
• Senior or semi-senior MVC C# developer (must have)
• 4+ years experience with front end development: javascript, css, HTML. (must have) • Experience with personalization features and xDB with MongoDB (nice to have) • Familiar with secure coding practices - how to prevent SQL injections, Encrypted traffic, etc

As a Software Engineer, you will participate in all aspects of software development (design, development, testing, maintenance, support) of the business’s applications. This is a hands-on development role responsible for design, implementation, and life cycle management of the product built/configured on the Huron platform.

You will also have the opportunity to work with one or more development teams that are responsible for web applications, able contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of applications and technologies owned by the assigned team, be delivering quality client and server-side code, markup, and CSS as needed, while adhering to best practices and standard. In addition, you’d be expected to attend all team meetings while making meaningful contributions and provide regular updates (via tools, meetings, communication, etc.) to the team lead of assigned teams.

Requirements :

- Order Promising system, promising the order delivery promise date to customer by applying the constraints on current resource availability across different steps in the supply chain. This system needs to scale for thousands of requests per minute with few million seconds of response time

- Warehouse and Inventory Management system, this system needs to scale to processing huge number of orders across different warehouse.

- Transportation and Logistics Management, involves planning and delivery of huge number orders to end customer. This system has the workflows to manage first mile, line haul and last mile delivery to customer

- Inventory Planning, helps in tracking different selling behaviours of the items and triggers / helps planners to replenish, promote, markdown or place inventory at right place to cut down the on hand inventory requirements

- You will be actively involved during the entire technology development lifecycle. Responsibilities will include all aspects from design, coding review, coding, unit testing, end user feedback cycle changes and manging and scaling the system in production.
