Responsibilities and Functions:

• Design, implement, test, and develop services and features for media/video-based software applications/products.
• Consult with internal stakeholders to determine the scope of User Stories. Translate Use Stories to actionable Development tasks.
• Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures. Assist SQA and Support personnel.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional, cross-site Agile teams in developing high quality features/applications/ products.
• Software/product optimization by performing maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
• Documenting processes and maintaining software development records
• Owns success – Responsible for successful delivery of the solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer-Science / Electronics or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, and .NET technologies with an acumen for code analysis, debugging and problem solving.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of OOP concepts.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Experience in working with media/video-based applications/products: File /streaming based media formats for professional and VOD/OTT markets. Media based metadata / Audio-Video codecs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work with a team of both senior and junior engineers. Mentor, while being mentored.
• Quick learner, self-motivated, proactive, work independently but can also collaborate with the team.

Desirable Additional Strengths:

• Ability to read, understand and translate standard documents to source code.
• Experience working with source control systems such as Git/Bitbucket/Stash, continuous integration tools such as TeamCity/Jenkins and scrum tools such as Jira.
• Experience with containerized/cloud environment development.
• Experience working as part of a small, focused, and agile product development team.

• Strong knowledge on C#, Asp.Net Web forms and Web API

Responsibilities : 

- Developer responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer with proven hands-on Software Development experience. We use Java 8

- 4-10 years java development experience with JSE/JEE, Java-based Micro-services framework, and implementation, Spring framework, Hibernate framework, SQL, etc

- Hands-on experience on Spring boot & SPARK Microservices and OSGi specifications

- Strong knowledge of micro-service logging, monitoring, debugging, and testing

- Implementations experience of micro-service integration, packaging, building automation, and deployment

- At least two years experience in SOA & Microservices based process applications using BPM (Activiti/JBPM/Camunda)

- Object-Oriented Analysis and design using common design patterns.

- Insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc)

- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC, Spring Boot)

Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject and a minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in a mid-d or large corporate Information Technology environment. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty.
