Mobile Automation Testing Engineer (Manual & Automation)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile QA Engineer who can independently handle the complete testing lifecycle of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both manual & automation testing, able to set up an end-to-end testing framework, and implement the best tools and techniques to ensure seamless app performance across different devices, OS versions, and network conditions.

🔹 Note: If working remotely, the candidate must have at least one iOS & one Android device for real-device testing. However, if willing to join the team in Mumbai, having one real device is sufficient.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

Perform functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, and usability testing on Android & iOS apps.

Execute cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-network testing.

Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA, Trello, or similar tools.

Conduct API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

Perform real-world network testing across Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G, VPN, firewalls, and offline modes.

Ensure compliance with accessibility & usability standards (WCAG guidelines).

Automation Testing

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or Detox.

Implement automation frameworks with TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, Jest, or Cucumber (BDD).

Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, CircleCI).

Performance, Security & Network Testing

Simulate and test app performance under real-world network conditions using Charles Proxy, Fiddler, and Network Link Conditioner.

Conduct security testing (SSL Pinning, OWASP Mobile Security, MITM Attacks) using Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP.

Monitor network requests, latency, and data consumption under different network conditions.

Test Strategy & Setup

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mobile App QA Specialist located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The QA Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day quality control, assurance, and management of the Wizdom app. Tasks include ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, conducting quality audits, and maintaining the overall quality of the app.
