About the Role
We are looking for curious, technically strong, and product-minded Product Engineer Interns to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of product thinking and software development, giving you hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle.
As a Product Engineer Intern, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand customer needs, contribute to feature development, and help deliver impactful product solutions. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to build both technical expertise and product understanding in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Understanding (Why & What)
- Assist in conducting customer and market research to understand user pain points and industry trends
- Support in translating business needs into user stories and functional requirements
- Help maintain product documentation and feature requirements
- Assist in tracking product performance metrics and gathering feedback for improvements
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for product enhancements
Software Development (How)
- Support development of product features across web, backend, or internal tools
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under guidance from senior engineers
- Participate in testing, debugging, and resolving technical issues
- Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions
- Help monitor product performance and support issue resolution
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in building products that solve real customer problems
Preferred
- Familiarity with Git/version control
- Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Personal, academic, or internship projects demonstrating product thinking
