Adobe After Effects

We are seeking a talented Slot Game Artist with a strong background in 2D animation and visual effects. The ideal candidate is an expert in creating fluid, eye-catching animations using Spine2D and crafting spectacular visual effects and motion graphics in Adobe After Effects. You will be a key player in the art team, responsible for creating the dazzling animations and effects that define the player experience, from symbol wins to exciting bonus features.

Key Responsibilities

● Design and create high-quality 2D animations for characters, symbols, and UI elements using Spine2D.

● Develop and integrate stunning visual effects (VFX) within Spine animations and the game engine to enhance gameplay moments (e.g., big wins, transitions, feature triggers).

● Produce compelling motion graphics, logo animations, and promotional video content using Adobe After Effects.

● Utilize the Trapcode Suite (e.g., Particular, Form, Shine) within After Effects to create complex particle effects, lighting, and other dynamic visuals.

● Create, prepare, and optimize game-ready art assets using Adobe Photoshop, ensuring they are well-organized for the animation pipeline.

● Collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and other artists to ensure a cohesive and visually impressive final product that aligns with the game's vision.

● Participate in the entire creative process, from brainstorming and storyboarding concepts to final implementation and polish.

● Maintain high standards of quality and ensure artistic consistency across all game assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

● Portfolio is a must: A strong and impressive portfolio showcasing your expertise in Spine animation, motion graphics, and VFX is required for consideration. Please provide a link to your reel/portfolio in your application.

● Expert Proficiency in Spine2D: Proven experience creating complex skeletal animations, including mesh deformation, IK constraints, and integrating special effects.

● Advanced Skills in Adobe After Effects: Deep knowledge of motion graphics, compositing, keyframe animation, and expressions.

● Experience with Trapcode Suite: Demonstrable experience using plugins like Trapcode Particular to create high-quality particle and 3D effects.

● Strong Command of Adobe Photoshop: Ability to create and prepare clean, optimized assets for animation.

● Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Game Artist, Animator, or Motion Graphics Designer, preferably within the iGaming or mobile gaming industry.

● Artistic Foundation: A solid understanding of the principles of animation, timing, weight, and visual storytelling.

● Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to take and provide constructive feedback.

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)

● Experience working specifically on slot games.

● Familiarity with game engines like Unity.

● Strong digital illustration or concept art skills.

● Knowledge of UI/UX animation principles.

● A passion for video games and a keen eye for what makes them visually appealing.
