Timbre

We are looking for a Video Editor to join Timbre full time and help us create high quality content across podcasts, YouTube, social media, product demos and marketing.

You will work closely with the team on real projects from start to finish, with a strong focus on editing, storytelling, motion graphics and polished visual content.

What you will do

1. Edit long form podcast, YouTube and other video content
2. Create engaging short form videos for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms
3. Handle video cuts, pacing, transitions, audio cleanup, syncing and overall post production
4. Create motion graphics, animations, intros, lower thirds and title sequences using After Effects
5. Create product demos, feature videos and marketing content for Timbre
6. Add B roll, captions, graphics, sound effects and other elements to improve the viewing experience
7. Work with the team to understand creative requirements and turn ideas into polished videos
8. Review feedback, make iterations and take ownership of projects from editing to final delivery

What we are looking for

1. Strong hands on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
2. Good understanding of video editing, pacing, storytelling and visual composition
3. Strong attention to detail and an eye for clean, engaging content
4. A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your editing and creative skills
5. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
6. Comfortable working full time in a remote environment
7. Ability to understand feedback and quickly iterate on creative work
8. Experience with podcasts, YouTube, social media content or product videos is a strong plus
