About OSCAR Foundation

OSCAR Foundation is a non-profit organisation using football and education to empower children and young people from underserved communities.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Communications team in Mumbai and help turn our work, stories and ideas into compelling visual communication.

The Role

This is primarily a graphic design role.

We are looking for someone with a strong design eye, a good portfolio and the ability to take a brief and turn it into clear, engaging visual communication.

You will work across social media, campaigns, presentations, reports, brochures, pitch decks and other communication materials.

What You'll Do

• Create social media creatives, campaign assets, presentations, reports, brochures and pitch decks
• Develop layouts, infographics, illustrations and other visual assets
• Translate ideas, information and stories into strong visual communication
• Maintain consistency across OSCAR Foundation's visual identity
• Adapt designs for different platforms, formats and audiences
• Work with internal teams, vendors and website partners on creative projects
• Manage multiple design requirements while meeting deadlines
• Write short and simple copy for social media and communication materials when required

What We're Looking For

Must have:

• 2-4 years of professional graphic design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating good design thinking and execution
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Strong understanding of typography, layouts, colour, composition and visual hierarchy
• Experience creating social media and campaign creatives
• Ability to take a brief and develop the concept through to the final design
• Good written and spoken English
• Based in Mumbai and available for a full-time role

Good to have:

• Working knowledge of Canva
• Basic copywriting skills
• Video editing or motion graphics skills
• Experience working with brands, campaigns or social-impact organisations

The Ideal Candidate

You are a designer first.

You care about how things look, but also understand why they need to look that way. You can take a rough idea, information or story and turn it into something clear, engaging and visually strong.

You should be comfortable working independently, receiving feedback and handling multiple projects at the same time.
