Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our development team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our customer-facing e-commerce platform and internal tools. The ideal candidate is proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies and can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize MaterialBuy’s e-commerce platform (front-end and back-end)
- Design and implement responsive UI/UX for web applications
- Build APIs and integrate third-party APIs for payments, logistics, CRM, etc.
- Work closely with design, product, and marketing teams to implement new features and enhancements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Identify performance issues and bugs, and devise solutions to address them
- Collaborate with SEO and digital marketing teams to optimize site performance and user experience
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Monitor website uptime, load speeds, and provide technical support when needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React.js/Vue.js
- Strong back-end experience using Node.js, Express.js, or PHP/Laravel
- Experience with databases: MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Working knowledge of e-commerce architecture and platforms (optional but preferred)
- Understanding of SEO basics, website security, and performance optimization
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AWS, Firebase, or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or headless CMS
- Knowledge of UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
