Job Description:
DirectShifts is looking for a dynamic Partnerships Specialist to establish and nurture new business relationships, cultivating a robust portfolio of partnerships to support work-based learning and internship placements within the healthcare staffing industry. A significant portion of this role involves spearheading a special project initiative centered on expanding our reach within the healthcare sector. As a key team member, the successful candidate will adeptly manage multiple tasks and deadlines, ensuring the seamless planning and execution of this endeavor. Moreover, you will be instrumental in broadening our engagement with healthcare employers across various specialties, including but not limited to Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, and Administrative roles. Within this capacity, your responsibilities will encompass identifying and matching qualified candidates to internship opportunities and developing work-based learning initiatives tailored to our employer partners' needs. The ideal candidate for this role is a collaborative team player with a proven track record of cultivating and sustaining long-lasting relationships. A strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for supporting healthcare professionals are imperative in this position. Meeting both individual and team goals on a monthly basis is a key performance expectation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential healthcare partners, including hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Assess market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development.
- Customize staffing solutions to meet the unique needs of healthcare partners.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in healthcare staffing or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulations.
- Willingness to work independently.
- Overseas work or education exposure is a must.

Job Description:
As a Healthcare Clinician Recruiter at DirectShifts, your primary responsibility is to source, screen, and manage a pool of talented clinicians in alignment with our client's staffing needs. Your role is pivotal in connecting highly qualified healthcare professionals with the right opportunities, ensuring a seamless recruitment process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing Clinicians:
- Proactively source clinicians through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential candidates to meet current and future staffing demands.
- Collaborate with the sales and client management teams to understand and align with client requirements.
2. Screening and Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough screening interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and suitability for specific positions.
- Ensure candidates meet the job description criteria and client requirements.
- Verify and document credentials, licenses, certifications, and work history.
3. Candidate Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate profiles, including contact information, qualifications, and interview notes.
- Proactively manage candidate relationships, providing timely updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Effectively communicate job offers, compensation packages, and other relevant details to candidates.
4. Client Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact (POC) between DirectShifts and the client throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Gather and clarify client requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of the job descriptions and desired qualifications.
- Collaborate with the client to schedule interviews, share candidate profiles, and facilitate the decision-making process.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in healthcare recruitment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including consent forms and compliance checks.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare recruitment or a similar role.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology, credentials, and licensing requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software is a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

About What You’ll Be Doing
DirectShifts is growing rapidly and we are looking for a full-stack engineer to join our technical team, working out of India. We need incredibly tenacious engineers who are not only great engineers but who can bring unique value to our rapidly growing team.
If you are passionate about coding – and do it on a day-to-day basis, then this is the place for you.
We are big fans of focusing mainly on two things: 1) talking to users and 2) build products.
You will be responsible for implementing ideas and mocks for our app (web and mobile) which is used daily by healthcare professionals, internal users, and healthcare employers - you will own the frontend development as well as the building blocks and the APIs that power the web app (and the mobile apps). You need to be comfortable dabbling with some basic infrastructure management on AWS.
About You
Ideal Qualifications
- Recent Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.js
- 4+ years of work experience, primarily as a full-stack developer
- A strong foundation of Ruby on Rails
- Strong React, HTML, Javascript & CSS skills
