The Aqualite Group was founded in 1981 by Mr. D.K. Gupta, who envisioned a world-class footwear manufacturing company that would provide the average Indian with a range of footwear that was both high-quality as well as comfortable and at very affordable prices too. Not only that, he further believed that it was possible to make low-priced footwear that would also be trendy, contemporary and allow the wearer make a style-statement. Aqualite manufactures a wide range of footwear for men, women and kids. These include branded flip flops for women, mens slippers, kids shoes, flip flops for kids and sandals. They are made of high-quality, light and durable materials such as PU, EVA, TPR compound and Phylon. The footwear can be worn for any occasion, be it daily wear (both formal and informal), running and other sports, or special events. Headquartered in New Delhi, Aqualite shoes India employs over 3000 people and has 14 state-of-the-art manufacturing units in Haryana and 1 in Rajasthan, which are capable of producing over 3 lakh pairs of footwear every day. Within the last 5 years, the company has nearly doubled their revenue to over Rs. 700 crores in 2017-18, and plan to achieve the milestone of Rs. 1000 crores by 2020.
