iOS Developer (Swift Experience)

 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and ship new features
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and improve app stability
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services
• Maintain code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in React Native.

• Integration of Rest APIs in react native.

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and Typescript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax

• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming

• Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code

• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts

• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android studio and IntelliJ

• Proficient understanding of releasing and monitoring apps on IOS App store, Play store.

• Should be able to communicate to backend developers on API building and modifications needed.

• Testing and releasing builds Experience in application testing software’s Appium is preferable.

• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha

• Experience with handling production mobile apps.

• Experience with performance testing and optimization.

Responsibilities:

You’ll

• We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms.

• You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.

• Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.

• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.

• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

• Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.

• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

• Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

• 3+ years proven work experience as a Mobile developer.
• Experience using web services (HTTP, REST, SOAP) using JSON, API and API Framework) .
• Good knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and Multi-threading concepts
• Good knowledge of the SQLite database and the Google Play Services like Push Notifications (fcm/sns)
• Strong mobile UI design (multi-screen resolutions), coding, support and maintenance
• Knowledge of HTML5, Bootstrap, JavaScript,
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (like Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• Proficient iOS and Android mobile app experience are a plus
• In-depth knowledge of at least two Framework/Libraries like React Native / Ionic / Framework7 / Aurelia / PhoneGap / Flutter and angular / react / vue / Mobile Angular UI/ Kendo UI.
• Knowledge of bench marking and optimization
• Mandatory : self sufficient developer and must have prior experience of hybrid development [atleast 3 projects]

• Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Maps, Core Location, Core Bluetooth and Core Animation etc.
• Familiarity with MVVM, Test driven development(TDD)
• Experience with third-party libraries such as Alamofire etc. and APIs Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Proficient in RESTful APIs
• Proficient in Git
• Familiarity with push notifications and cloud message APIs etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning, optimisation
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as xcode Instruments and Shark
• Experience in writing unit and functional tests
• Perform bug fix and improve application performance
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Strong UX/UI design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively and with pixel perfect interfaces. Understanding of Apple’s design principles and human interface guidelines
• Strong CS fundamentals (with competencies in algorithms and data structures)
• Highly accountable and takes ownership, with collaborative attitude, and a lifelong learner.

Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support) on both Android and iOS
- Build a framework as the application grows so our Apps and SDKs are unanimous. 
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code 
- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions 
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimise performance 
- Design interfaces to improve user experience 
- Liaise with Product team to plan new features 
- Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards 
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
- Work with latest Security protocols and data transfer optimisations

- Proven work experience as a Mobile developer with 3 - 5 years of experience. 
- Must be proficient in at least one programming language from Java, Swift & Objective C and must be willing to learn the other two. 
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs 
- Familiarity with OOP design principles 
- Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude 
- Ability to perform in a fast paced team environment
- Strong understanding of in-device security

Preferences:

If you have experience Building apps for fast-growing startups
- If you have hands-on experience on iOS and Android both
- If you have experience working with Flutter.

Note:Our Android application is being written in Java 
and iOS app in Objective C and Swift.
