• Develop entire applications using Flutter, Android Studio or other platforms.

Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) – Credit Card Platform (Team Lead)

What you'll do:

• Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development: Angular, Node, TypeScript, JavaScript, Apache Cordova, RESTful APIs and more
• Assist in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and other engineers on different permutations to find the best solution possible
• Own the quality of code and do your own testing. Automate feature testing and contribute UI testing framework
• Become a subject matter expert for our mobile applications
• Deliver amazing solutions to production that knock everyone’s socks off
• Mentor junior developers on the team

Basic Qualifications: 

• Minimum B.S. / M.S. Computer Science or related discipline from accredited college or University
• At least 6 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering web applications with Angular, Node, Typescript, IONIC and JavaScript
• At least 2 years of experience building iOS-based applications utilizing hybrid technologies
• At least 2 years of experience with AWS and/or Openshift
• Experience integrating with native device API’s (iOS)
• Experience with front-end and/or mobile-specific testing frameworks
• Strong experience in object-oriented design and development
• Knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Excellent sense of web design, passionate about creating and refining great mobile user experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet established timelines  
• Strong collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient with Apache Cordova framework

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior React Native Developer to join our team and take the lead on developing our cross-platform mobile application. You’ll play a critical role in building, launching, and scaling a high-performance mobile app that runs seamlessly on both iOS and Android platforms from a single codebase.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of a cross-platform mobile application using React Native.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize app performance for speed and scalability across devices and OS versions.
• Ensure the app complies with design standards and platform-specific guidelines (Apple App Store & Google Play).
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment (e.g., using Fastlane, EAS, or similar).
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Handle app store submissions and updates.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in mobile development.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React architecture.
• Deep knowledge of iOS and Android mobile app development lifecycle.
• Experience with mobile UI/UX best practices and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, Android Studio).
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling network latency issues.
• Proficient with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and agile development practices.
• Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, deep linking, and analytics SDKs.

Preferred:

• Experience with Expo or EAS for managed workflows.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, etc.).
• Experience with native modules (Objective-C/Swift and Java/Kotlin) as needed.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox).
• Published apps in both the App Store and Google Play.
• Prior experience in startups or high-growth environments.

• Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
• Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
• Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
• Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
• Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.

• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
