Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial transactions, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain ledgers and accurately document financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Handle accounts payable & receivable processes efficiently.
• Process GST and TDS transactions as per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and issue invoices daily using ZOHO Books.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS processing is a must.
• Hands-on experience with ZOHO Books or similar accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

* Collaborative Development:

 - Work closely with Product, UX/UI, and Backend teams to design, build and extend consumer facing products, platforms, and features.

• Responsible for coordinating the review of new release details, as well as communicating platform maintenance events to project teams and end users affected by both planned and unplanned events.
• Establish and maintain the security policies for the firewall as new customer locations are added.

• Switch from primary IPSec tunnel to backup tunnel
• Switch back to Primary when appropriate
• Backup policy development and administration for OCI tenant
• VM Backup scripting (includes testing and enhancements as needed).

Requirements:

• Proficient with modern JavaScript (ES6+: classes, modules, arrow function, destructuring etc).

• Generating leads into exhibitions & events industry, targeting high potential clients participating in the exhibitions (Domestic as well as International).
• Developing business by cold calling, client pitching through research or references.
• Deliver scripted sales pitch to the clients.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and results achieved.
• Mailing Introductory Profile to prospective clients.
• Scheduling appointments and to get maximum meetings done with the clients.
• To get sound brief from the client and ensure maximum clients are converted.
• Client follow ups & feedback till the completion of the project.
• To ensure timely payment is made by the client after the completion of the project.
• To be a single point of contact between the client and the production team.
