Full Stack Tech Lead

About the Role

We are seeking talented Full Stack Developers with 3–7 years of experience to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidates are strong problem solvers with expertise in both backend and frontend technologies, but with deep specialization depending on the role (backend-heavy or frontend-heavy).

Key Responsibilities

Common Responsibilities (Both Roles)

• Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end web applications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability across all components of the stack.

Role 1: Full Stack Developer – Backend-Heavy

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in backend development using Node.js
• Hands-on experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Deep understanding of databases:
• Relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with server-side design patterns, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) sufficient to integrate backend services.

Nice to Have

• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Performance tuning and monitoring tools.

Role 2: Full Stack Developer – Frontend-Heavy

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in frontend frameworks such as React.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong understanding of responsive UI design, UX principles, and component-based architecture.
• Experience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend with backend systems.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel) and state management (Redux, MobX, NgRx, etc.).
• Basic working knowledge of backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, or any equivalent stack.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UI performance optimization and browser debugging tools.
• Familiarity with design systems, Storybook, or component libraries.
• Experience with SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js, Nuxt.js).

Development and Customization:

Build and customize Frappe modules to meet business requirements.

Develop new functionalities and troubleshoot issues in ERPNext applications.

Integrate third-party APIs for seamless interoperability.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve system issues.

Maintain technical documentation for implementations.

Collaboration:

Work with teams to gather requirements and recommend solutions.

Participate in code reviews for quality standards.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with Frappe developments and optimize application performance.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and relational databases.

Knowledge of Frappe/ERPNext framework and object-oriented programming.

Experience with Git for version control.

Strong analytical skill

Key Responsibilities

• Advance the state of the art in building Microservices with Java and frontend applications with React JS.
• Design and Develop Cloud based, web applications for SMBs
• Design and develop the front end for customer-facing applications using MVC framework
• Design and develop supporting components and Microservices for the backend tiers focusing on fault-tolerance and scalability in a multi-tenant B2B2C environment
• Team with top-notch engineers, product managers, Dev Ops and QA following agile development methodologies
• Review functional requirements, providing technical feedback on feasibility and architectural approach and framework.
• Develop technical specifications
• Contribute to test plan development.
• Create Prototype and/or Proof of Concepts (POCs) when necessary
• Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentor junior engineers and new team members, perform code reviews and apply technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
• Manage and maintain Cloud infrastructure
• Maintain and improve the functionality and performance of the existing web applications; refactor legacy codebase
• Help shape and execute the technical roadmap to develop next generation features; integrate corporate- and product-level architecture principles and goals into the teams project work through designs, implementation strategies, and project planning.
• Drive a culture of quality, technical curiosity, continuous improvement, and evidence-based data driven decision making in the organization.
• Lead team in software development best practices including Peer Code Review, Unit testing, Automated Deployments, and Automated Testing.
• Write technical documentation

About the job

We are looking for an experienced individual who can work with us. The selected developer would help us in developing new backend services, update / change older working services, creating REST APIs for frontend, and maintain existing code and integration to other Providers with High Quality and re-usable code.
