As a WordPress and PHP Developer , you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites and web applications for Texila. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and exceed expectations. Your expertise in WordPress and PHP will be crucial in implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

PHP and WordPress Developer Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the UI/UX and internal teams to develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionality that align with project requirements.

Write efficient, maintainable, and secure PHP code for both front-end and backend development.

Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet needs.

Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality and user experience.

Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO, and ensure they are responsive across different devices.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress, PHP, and other web technologies.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress and PHP development.

Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain coding standards within the team.

Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time.

Requirements:

WordPress developers with strong hold PHP development experience.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.

Proven work experience (6+ YEARS) as a WordPress developer and PHP.

Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

Knowledge of code versioning tools 

Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.

Ability to manage projects and meet timelines

We are currently building an online learning engine to host adaptive online courses, simulations, and multiplayer games for institutional partners. We are now in the software development stage of the project.

We are looking for a full-stack developer to join our development team. The developer will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of front and back-end software applications. Their responsibilities will extend from designing system architecture to high-level programming, performance testing, and systems integration.

Required Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
• Previous experience as a full stack engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of front-end languages including HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, C++, JQuery, React.js and Next.js.
• Knowledge of relational database systems and SQL.
• Familiarity with AWS architecture and working knowledge of services like S3, SES, EC2, RDS and more.
• Proficient in back-end languages including Java, Python, Rails, Ruby, .NET, and PHP.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, Veed.io, Linear, Intercom, Plateau, and Miro.

Responsibilities:

• Concepting, creating, and building websites alongside our graphic design team, including taking designer wireframes and magically turning them into effective code.
• Working through the website development lifecycle to launch.
  Designing user-based interactions through an effective front-end architecture framework.
• Developing functional databases, applications, and servers to support our websites on the back end.
• Developing and designing RESTful services and APIs.
• Determining application responsiveness for consumers.
• Troubleshooting issues and problem-solving as necessary.
• Keeping current with industry trends and developments that can be applied to company needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
• Expertise with MEAN stack
• Fluent in CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript, and HTML, with an understanding of CSS preprocessors including Sass and LESS.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, JavaScript, and MongoDB with working knowledge of SQL Database and PHP.
• Experience with JS-based tools including Bower, Grunt, and Gulp.
• Working experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Experience working with server technologies including Apache, ISS, Node.js, and Nginx.
• Experience in API design and development.
• Understanding of libraries including Backbone.js and jQuery.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, Jira is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a head for problem-solving.
• Skilled at working in tandem with a team, or unsupervised as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficient in Angular JS or ReactJS, Node.js and JavaScript.
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes in one or more database technologies such as Mongo, MySQL etc.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language. (Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of one or more of Python, Ruby, JavaScript etc.)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Academic Qualifications:
