Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to build and scale our fintech platform. You will own the entire lifecycle of our financial products, from designing high-performance relational schemas in PostgreSQL to building interactive dashboards in React.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Build and maintain end-to-end features using the PERN stack

(PostgreSQL, Express.js, React, Node.js).

• Database Optimization: Design complex relational models and optimize SQL queries to

handle high-volume financial data and audit trails.

• Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security measures (e.g., JWT, OAuth, data

encryption) and ensure the platform adheres to fintech standards like PCI-DSS.

• API Architecture: Develop robust RESTful APIs to integrate with third-party banking APIs,

payment processors (Stripe/Plaid), and KYC providers.

Technical Requirements

• Front-end: Advanced proficiency in React.js (Hooks, Context API, Redux or TanStack Query)

and modern CSS (Tailwind/Styled Components).

• Back-end: Expert-level Node.js and Express.js experience, with a focus on asynchronous

programming and secure API design.

• Database: Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL (complex joins, indexing, triggers, and

migrations).

Additional skills

• Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture (using AWS SQS/SNS or Kafka).

• Familiarity with SOC2 or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.

• Cloud (AWS): Proven experience with:

• RDS/Aurora for managed databases.
• IAM for secure access management.
• AWS Lambda & API Gateway for serverless architecture.
• CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting.

• Tools: Git, Docker, and experience with CI/CD workflows.

Must have skills :

Responsibilities:

Code, test and debug programs according to specifications.

Build new and modifying existing applications.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end development (front-end to back-end) eb based applications
• Design and develop robust, scalable and highly efficient website
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Skills

• Strong development experience in Java, JavaScript on Node.js
• Proficiency in full stack web application development (MEAN stack)
• Strong programming skills with experience in design, coding, and testing
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (such as Sass, based on project requirements)
• Good experience with AJAX, REST and JSON
• Experience with AWS cloud services will be an added advantage
• Understanding of Source Control tools for version control: GIT/SVN

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 2 - 6 years of hands on experience developing, implementing and delivering web applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Interface.ai provides an Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) to FIs to automate calls and customer inquiries across multiple channels and engage their customers with financial insights and upsell/cross-sell.

Our IVA is transforming financial institutions’ call centers from a cost to a revenue center.

Our core technology is built 100% in-house with several breakthroughs in Natural Language Understanding. Our parser is built based on zero-shot learning that helps us to launch industry-specific IVA that can achieve over 90% accuracy on Day-1. 

We are 45 people strong with employees spread across India and US locations. Many of them come from ML teams at Apple, Microsoft, and Salesforce in the US along with enterprise architects with over 20+ years of experience building large-scale systems. Our India team consists of people from ISB, IIMs, and many who have been previously part of early-stage startups. 

We are a fully remote team.

Founders come from Banking and Enterprise Technology backgrounds with previous experience scaling companies from scratch to $50M+ in revenues.

As a SDE III, you will be :

1. Designing and implementing FullStack applications of interface.ai’s conversational AI platform and playing a significant role in evolving them.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. Youll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Responsibilities

• Work with development team and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or a degree in Computer Science background.
• Experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role (Institute or Organization level).
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Knowledge of back-end languages and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React and Node.js)
