Job Description:

As a WordPress Developer at iCube Solutions, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications, including custom development projects. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure our clients' web projects are visually appealing, user-friendly, and technically sound.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

2. Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

3. Code custom WordPress solutions to address specific client needs.

4. Collaborate with designers to implement responsive web designs.

5. Troubleshoot and debug website issues, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

6. Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.

7. Optimize websites for speed, security, and SEO.

8. Perform regular updates, backups, and security audits on WordPress sites.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

10. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.

11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

2. Proven 2-3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.

3. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

4. Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.

5. Familiarity with WordPress core functions and APIs.

6. Ability to customize and code for custom development projects.

7. Knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques.

8. Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) is a plus.

9. Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

11. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Frontend Engineer to join our growing engineering team to help build and maintain HappyFox’s product offerings.

• You will consistently ship features and improvements and lead a team of engineers working on our product roadmap.

Requirements:

• Keen design eye to translate wire frames into pixel perfect web pages
• Excellent JSON/DOM manipulation skills
• Should have strong key skills in HTML5, CSS and advanced JavaScript and the ability to turn design mock-ups into great looking sites with user interactions.
• Must also be up-to-date with cross-browser and cross-platform issues, have a good eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines
• Experience in building Scalable Apps
• Experience with third- party libraries, social media integration and APIs.
• Work on building product from scratch and improving application performance.
• Should understand and have knowledge on the application security practices/vulnerabilities
• Understands Web Products and understand Performance of the application.
• Linux and Unix Skills
• Hands on experience in collecting and analyzing/improving Application analytics
• Good understanding in User Patterns, CTRs and closely work with UX and Product team in a dynamic environment
• Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

Requirement::

• Be an individual contributor to the team, work on sprint tasks related to Front End Development

• Develop features as per requirements and design, own the feature developments till production

• Interact with backend team on finalizing the APIs and work on integrating them

• Never miss to write unit tests and keep the coverage healthy

• Take the lead to maintain re-factor and if necessary, throw away legacy frontend code

• Review other's code and get your code reviewed as well

• Plan the code and approach first then start writing the code

• Taking pride in the work you have accomplished and showing it to the customer
