About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front-End Developer to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a product-based software development company and should have hands-on involvement in e-commerce platform projects.

Mandatory Criteria

• Candidate must be currently working or have prior experience in a product-based software development company
• Candidate must have worked on at least one e-commerce platform project (end-to-end involvement)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web interfaces using React.js
• Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, reusable front-end components
• Optimize components for maximum performance and cross-browser compatibility
• Integrate front-end components with backend RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with design, backend, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and agile development ceremonies

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API integration
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Understanding of performance optimization, debugging, and front-end testing practices

What are we looking for:

1. We are looking for someone that has an eye for design, solid experience in ReactJS, are value-driven and product-oriented. You will own all phases of user interface development.
2. From architecture and design to implementation and customer engagement. This role isn’t just about coding; it's about owning features end-to-end, translating them from concepts to user-centric products
3. Each engineer owns the feature they are building and is responsible for turning it into reality, and we will need your front-end expertise to find solutions to problems and challenges and deliver on roadmap objectives.
4. 4+ years of experience in web frontend technology, including React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS.
5. Significant experience with JavaScript frameworks and client-side state management, particularly React.js and Redux.
6. Knowledge of 2D visualization libraries like D3 and 3D visualization tools such as Three.js and WebGL is a plus.
7. Expertise in developing solutions for complex problems and integrations, with a strong product sense to balance technical and product requirements.
8. Skilled in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including design, product, tech, learning experience & marketing.
9. Independent and capable of producing 'production ready' code with minimal guidance.
10. Proficient in performance optimization and CDN caching strategies.
11. Nice to have: Full stack experience working in backend.

We are looking for a passionate hands-on engineer to join our Engineering team.

• To build next-generation web applications which are efficient, reusable front-end abstractions and systems.
• Work closely with Product Managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to implement front-end solutions while embracing emerging standards and pushing the limits of what a browser can do.
• Explore and design dynamic and compelling consumer experiences.
• Command an impressive portfolio of the latest UI technologies
• Analyze system function and performance requirements to support design concepts.
• Actively participate in design and code reviews to build robust applications and prototypes.
• Interacting with other team members to passionately collaborate our innovations.
• Constantly and consistently implementing new features and optimizing existing ones from controller-level to UI. Vigilantly and rapidly fix bugs.
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Endorsing upcoming standards, launching, iterating, and making a difference.

Ideal Candidate

• Proficiency with HTML5, Javascript, Angular JS, React JS and CSS3
• Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable, highly performant code for Website and Web applications.
• Experience with scripting languages (PHP) will be preferable.
• Excellent communication skills, good visual design sense, in-depth experience in developing web-based applications.
• Architecting, configuring, and automating the build process.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• Knowledge in WordPress will be a plus
