Job Description :

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled MERN Stack Developer with a specialization in Blockchain to join our team. As a Blockchain MERN Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in crafting and implementing blockchain solutions, utilizing the MERN stack for both front-end and back-end development. Your role will contribute to the creation of secure, scalable, and decentralized applications.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and design applications based on blockchain technology using the MERN stack.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a specific focus on blockchain technology.

- Proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).

- Experience with major blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar.

- Solid understanding of smart contract development and implementation.

- Familiarity with decentralized application (dApp) development.

- Knowledge of cryptography and principles of blockchain security.

- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Your Role

At the level of lead engineer, you are seen as a natural leader by your peers. You have a deep experience in designing and building secure, scalable, applications for the web using .Net, AWS and SQL - a background working in financial services at enterprise scale is preferred. You live our design and development methodologies, understand our business. You should have extensive knowledge on enterprise systems, security, development technologies within the Microsoft Stack, as well as excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

In this role you will be responsible for designing our global Digital Wealth platform product features , this includes core application functionality, API work as well as integrations with key partners. As one of the team's leaders, this person should be empowering our development team to make sound technical and architectural decisions. You will be accountable for quality of deliverables coming out of your squad and show ability to quickly learn and analyze complex system. This is a hands-on position, working in agile world on meaningful projects with a direct, immediate and visible impact to our key global clients.

To complete development activities required to meet business requirements. Development activities should be completed within expected delivery dates and should adhere to all Invesco development standards. The ability to communicate with project managers and other IT professionals is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

•               Gather and analyze information on existing business processes in order to make recommendations that seek to improve business systems and processes.

•               Analyze and document requirements for enhancements to systems and / or business processes. May involve investigation of third party vendors or systems.

•               Clearly document solutions and recommendations to business problems.

•               Review requirements and designs with relevant stakeholders to obtain agreement and sign off of proposals.

•               Create cost and time estimates along with project plans to enable prioritization and execution of work.

•               Complete all tasks related to development, unit testing, user acceptance testing, reporting and system implementation in accordance with the IT development life cycle.

•               Always conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined.

•               Maintain system support documentation for all supported applications, ensuring it is kept up to date.

•               Assist with necessary documentation and implementation plans in the promotion of code to production environments

•               Assist with regular system upgrades on third party applications by reviewing functionality changes (new/amended), system testing and updating of support documentation.

•               Communicate with project managers and management using clear, user-friendly terminology (emails, phone, meetings).

•               Must demonstrate a strong customer focused attitude and understand the fundamentals of customer service.

•               Work with peers to do unit testing and code review to ensure quality builds.

The Experience You Bring

·      8+ years technical leadership and architecture experience in software development

·      6+ years of ASP.NET, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and SQL Server, AWS and Microservices

·      5+ years working in SQL-backed environments.

·      In depth knowledge of client side JavaScript frameworks like React and Redux

·      In depth knowledge of REST services(WCF, Web API, Microservices)

·      Solid work experience in building SaaS based products.

·      Experience and clear understanding of how to plan and execute within iterations and sprints

·      Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

·      Innovative, challenging programming work in the Microsoft stack, with SQL Server as a back end

·      Experience building for the web using C#, Bootstrap, Vue, AJAX, CSS, jQuery, REST and the latest technologies.

·      Ability to work independently with the knowledge and capability to come in and make an immediate impact

·      Experience working in a sprint-driven development process.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in software development using modern frontend frameworks in JavaScript/TypeScript.

Overview

This position, under the general direction of the Lead and/or Manager, Software Engineering, will be responsible for technical and development support for our award-winning K-12 software. This role will implement, code, build, and test new features, maintain existing features, and develop new plugins/accelerators that will enhance the functionality of our existing product.
