Technical Content Writer / Manager

Job Description: ​Writing various Technical/Non-Technical documents as required by the different departments (Documents like Product Brochures, User manuals, Installation manuals,​ ​web-site documentation etc​. ​Meeting with various departments (Sales / Design / Development / Quality etc.) to discuss the document requirements and gathering data to be included in the documents. ​Researching about the documents from existing sources from internet/books etc.​​ Responsibilities: Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities Create and maintain the information architecture Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications. Requirements: Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power-point etc.), Ketnotes etc. Excellent written skills in English and strong command on communication skill. Good analytical skills. Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development Preference of Educational background: Bachelor’s degree from any worldwide reputed institute University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred. Related professional courses would be an advantage. Preference of Professional background: Experience on end user product documentation would be an advantage.
