What you'll do:
· Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development: Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs and related backend frameworks
· Assist in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible

Basic Qualifications:
· Minimum B.S. / M.S. Computer Science or related discipline from accredited college or University
· At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering backend applications with Node.js, TypeScript
· At least 2 years of experience building internet facing services
· At least 2 years of experience with AWS and/or OpenShift
· Exposure to some of the following concepts: object-oriented programming, software engineering techniques, quality engineering, parallel programming, databases, etc.
· Experience integrating APIs with front-end and/or mobile-specific frameworks
· Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet established timelines
· Strong collaboration skills
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Apache Cordova framework
- Demonstrable knowledge of native coding background in iOS, Android
· Experience developing and deploying applications within Kubernetes based containers
Experience in Agile and SCRUM development techniques
- 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience with Mongo DB as a Developer.
- Deploy and create MongoDB clusters with appropriate configuration once the machines are provisioned
- Be able to script, and have programming ability with MongoDB shell and/or other programming languages
- Configure and monitor replica sets and Sharded Clusters
- Ability and experience in working with applications that work with MongoDB such as Java, Node.js and/or others
- Experience with MongoDB security, managing roles and permissions
- Experience with MongoDB backups and restores, manually and using MongoDB and other tools
- Knowledge and experience in working with MongoDB Ops Manager and/or Cloud manager
- Knowledge and/or experience working with MongoDB Atlas
- Knowledge of at least one DevOps tool such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible or similar
- Experience with ORM tools such as spring data is preferred.
Must-Have Technology Skills:
- OOP Concept, Java 8+, Spring Boot, API development, Agile Scrum knowledge, Strong Databases design concepts of RDBMS, and capable of writing and optimizing complex queries.
Good understanding of any Database tool e.g. Postgres, MySQL, etc., - DevOps basic knowledge e.g. implementation of logging in the code, Application Performance Management.
- Basic API & Application security, and Basics of tuning application performance.
- Basic Understanding of DevOps concepts e.g. CI & CD, Deployment lifecycle, Basic understanding of unit testing concepts e.g. TDD (test-driven development).
- A basic understanding of Microservices patterns

Skills & Experience
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or relevant technical field.
Experience in software development and full product life-cycle.
Excellent programming skills in any object-oriented programming languages - preferably Java, C/C++/C#, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability.
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
