Sr. UI Architect

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end development and the Angular framework to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web applications while collaborating with backend developers and UI/UX designers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular framework.
• Design and implement user interfaces (UI) using Angular components, services, and modules.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and debugging.
• Work in an Agile environment and collaborate with team members on project requirements and timelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other application concerns.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Angular 2+ (preferably Angular 9 or above).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RxJS and reactive programming concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Experience with Angular CLI and Node Package Manager (npm).
• Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Material Design) and CSS preprocessors like SCSS or LESS.
• Experience with Unit Testing (Jasmine, Karma) and End-to-End Testing (Protractor, Cypress).
• Familiarity with state management libraries (NgRx, Akita) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies Node.js is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience working as a front-end or Angular developer.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• - Contribute to a full development life cycle, including: requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, and on-going technical support.
• - Work closely with the existing team to learn the current application architecture, design and understand its functionalities and complexities.
• - Bridge the gap between graphic design and backend technical implementation
• - Build modular, responsive templates using modern CSS techniques
• - Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
• Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies.

We are looking for an Angular Developer and your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface in the form of a mobile and web app, with a focus on performance. The main duties will include creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional app. The artistic design will be delivered to you, together with a few wire frames templates, but your assistance will be required regarding animations, CSS, and final HTML output. You will work in a team with the back-end developer and communicate with the API using standard methods.

• Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
• Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
• Communicating with external web services

Skills and Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects
• Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback
• Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular
• Experience with building the infrastructure for serving the front-end app and assets

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and real time applications
• Architecting applications and strategizing them to be scalable for traffic.

• 2-3 years of experience with JavaScript, JQuery, Node.js
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• You’ve got good experience working on web applications
• You have a clear knowledge and hands-on with ES6+ and you know AngularJS, Vue or React/React-Native
• Advanced knowledge in AngularJS, VueJS and CSS with material design styles guide
• Basic knowledge of NodeJS
• Basic understanding on Progressive Web Applications will be well appreciated
• Advanced knowledge in WebPack and other basic tools to work with Javascript nowadays (Git, npm, etc ...)
• Knowledge and experience in the development of unit tests for VueJS (no matter the library or framework)
• Good Knowledge on Optimizing performance and browser compatibility is always at the top of your mind
