Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience to join the software development team of a leading Clinical Research organization.

The role involves developing and enhancing enterprise applications, building scalable APIs, and contributing to feature development while ensuring code quality and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8+ and Hibernate.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs using JAX-RS (RestEasy) and Jackson.
• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, including complex query writing.
• Develop UI components using JSP and React.js.
• Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD processes.
• Ensure code quality through SonarQube and SonarLint.
• Work with AWS services including IAM, SNS, SQS, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Description:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

- 3+ years of hands-on development experience, primarily in building products for large enterprises.

- Exceptional communication skills.

Job Description

· Design technical specifications for RPA (Uipath) that meets the requirements and handled all the non functional requirements of concurrency, scalability, security requirements, restart and recovery.

· Develops and configures automation processes as per the technical design document to meet the defined requirements. Works on the coding the more complicated automations or reusable components, and delegates and mentors junior developers for the less complex components.

· Develops new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.

· Complies with and helps to enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures.

· Ensures documentation is well maintained.

· Ensures quality of coded components by performing thorough unit testing.

Qualifications

Additional Information

· 5- 8 years of IT experience and having good understanding of programming concepts. Should be from a programming background on any coding language (.Net, Java).

· Working experience in RPA for a minimum of 2 years and having project experience of a minimum 3 RPA implementations.

· Understands development methodology and lifecycle

· Should be trained on RPA tools (Uipath).

Backend engineers at AssetSprout work on our products. They include software for Certified Financial Planners, their clients, and also internal admin tools. They work with the CTO, frontend engineers, and other backend engineers to deliver towards the company’s vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own product features end to end in a scalable, secure and maintainable way. The buck stops with you on whatever you own.
• Provide technical solutions through design, architecture and implementation. Wear multiple hats in delivering greenfield projects from concept to production.

Requirements

• We are language and framework agnostic as long as you can pick up new technologies.
• Proficient and expert level coding skills with any of the programming languages, preferably Java, Kotlin. Experience in Python, C++, Scala etc. is welcome.
• Develop web applications and services using Spring Boot. Experience with Akka, Play, Flask, Django is welcome.
• Write automated tests with any of the frameworks. We measure success on how well your code is unit tested and integration tested.
• Advanced level understanding of RDMS systems, preferably Postgres. Working knowledge of non-relational databases such as DynamoDB, Cassandra is helpful
• Able to use CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins etc. and create workflows and pipelines to release to production every other day.
• Expert level understanding of RESTful APIs, pagination, networking concepts around HTTP, thread pools, and other server-side concepts.
• Solid experience of how AWS services work. Some cloud services directly relevant are Lambda, EC2, S3, Dynamo, RDS, Eventbridge, SQS, ElastiCache Redis, Load Balancers etc.
