Software Engineer : Node js

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js to join our development team. You will be responsible for developing scalable, high-performance server-side applications. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using Node.js.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs that connect front-end applications with the back-end server.

Design and manage databases (both SQL and NoSQL) for data storage, retrieval, and management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the backend and ensure the application performs well under load.

Implement secure coding practices to protect data and ensure the integrity of systems.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct peer code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team.

Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration between the server-side and client-side components.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of the application.

Participate in deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Required Skills:

Minimum of 3 years working as a backend developer, specifically with Node.js.

Strong experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express.js for building server-side applications.

Solid experience with SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.

Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.

Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying and managing applications.

Understanding of security best practices such as authentication (JWT, OAuth), data protection, and preventing common vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment, communicate effectively, and be proactive.

Skills And Qualification: -

• Must have experience with any scripting language (JavaScript/NodeJS preferred)

What will you do?

• Connect the dots between business goals and consumer problems through product development
• Solve the most challenging problem of scaling and business logic
• Design and develop services using test driven development with near 100% code coverage
• Develop and deploy services continuously using CI/CD on a daily basis
• Identify and own meaningful metrics for success and move them dramatically.
• Prepare and present management updates on key initiatives. Communicate clearly at all levels in the organization.
• Conduct multivariate experiments to constantly validate hypotheses and bash all the myths

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers and designers to build website following client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, simple, and reusable code
• Develop all server-side logic, including data storage to optimize website performance
• Identify programming bottlenecks and bugs and find fixes
• Test, update and validate web applications to be used on different web browsers
• Execute automated testing platforms and system tests
• Familiarity with front-end technologies
• Attention to detail, especially in identifying and fixing errors.

Required Skills

• 3+ Years of experience in back-end development
• Knowledge and experience in Node js and Mongo DB
• Experience in Microservices Architecture

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Essential skills: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
• Code Ignitor and Laravel development experience a big plus
• Advanced knowledge of SQL is important
• Should be able to analyze requirement and design robust system
