Software Engineer - Computer Vision

We are looking for a Sr. Drupal Developer primarily responsible for back-end/module development.

• 5 + years experienced Drupal professional having develop/architect experience in Drupal 7, 8 and 9 platforms.
• Ability to perform complex Drupal development tasks including custom module development using the Drupal API system and hooks from major Drupal core systems
• Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the websites architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.
• Ability to perform complex Drupal development tasks including custom module development using the Drupal API system and hooks from major Drupal core systems.
• Develop code by adhering to the Drupal, security and accessibility standards.
• Strong RESTful API development and experience in consuming the micro service
• Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture
• Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels
• Experience creating custom Drupal modules
• Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
• Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as mySQL, Postgres, etc.
• Proficiency in using Version Control System such as Git or SVN
• Works with stakeholders to execute technical & business objectives for the WCMs web properties. Collaborates with web designers, web developers & content editors to build high-quality, secure, standards-compliant web applications/sites & experiences
• Prioritizes, tracks, and documents feature requests, enhancements, and bugs. Communicates frequently with project teams to maintain situational awareness
• Conducts software testing and release activities
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools such as Travis, Jenkins 

As a PHP Backend Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the server-side logic of web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability. You will work closely with the front-end development team, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and efficient web solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP frameworks (such as Yii, Laravel, Symfony, and CodeIgniter) and other related technologies.
• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement secure and efficient APIs for data exchange with the front end and external services.
• Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, improving code efficiency, and implementing caching mechanisms.
• Ensure data integrity and implement proper validation and error-handling techniques.
• Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in PHP development and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and improve team collaboration.
• Collaborate with the project management team to estimate project timelines and deliver work within specified deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, provide technical support and perform maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a PHP Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and its frameworks (Yii, Laravel, Symfony, etc.) with a good understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and their integration with backend systems.
• Familiarity with database systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and proficiency in writing efficient database queries.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git for code collaboration and deployment.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration of third-party APIs.
• Experience in optimizing application performance and implementing caching techniques.
• Understanding of security principles and best practices for web application development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Description : 

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks -Laravel, CodeIgnitor
• Must have 2 years of experience in PHP Laravel or Codelgnitor
• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Thorough understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

We are looking for highly motivated engineers with the following skillset-

• Engineering degree in Computer science or ECE or MCA is a must
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
• Experience using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc. - any 1 is required
• VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS - knowledge of any 1 is required
• Between 1-5 years of work experience is required
• Very strong data structure and algorithm knowledge
• Ideal candidate would be a very strong developer with great coding skills
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work through ambiguous requirements and come up with a clear scope and problem statement
