Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build intuitive and reliable digital products.
• Advocate and implement engineering best practices : SOLID principles, OOP, clean code, CI/CD, TDD/BDD.
• Lead Agile-based development cycles with a focus on speed, quality, and customer outcomes.

What We’re Looking For :

• Proven experience in Java backend development (Spring Boot, Microservices).
• 8+ Years of hands-on engineering experience with at least 2+ years in a Lead role.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design solutions from first principles.
• Prior experience in product-based or startup environments is a big plus.

Experience and Expertise

● 7– 10 years of experience in backend development with Python or Golang.

● Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

We are looking for a focussed, energetic and motivated Senior Java Developer. You must have sufficient experience in Java Development, Spring, Spring Boot, AWS and SQS, S3. You will be challenged with complex and robust product development.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be the most senior developer within the company working alongside other Java Developers, the Engineering Manager, and the CTO.

Senior Java Developer requirements

Solid development experience using Java, Springboot, SQS, S3 and Microservices

Experience working in Swing Java framework

Revises, updates, refactors, and debugs code

Write clear, concise and efficient code and ensure it is fully tested

Service and develop features using Java with AWS, JUnit, SQL and Spring framework

You have a good knowledge of Cloud technologies (ideally AWS)

Participate in peer coding reviews and work in a collaborative, agile environment

Demonstrate technical knowledge and expertise with a clear understanding on the products' technical composition

Senior Java Developer responsibilities

7-9 yrs minimum work experience

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Serves as an expert on developed applications

Ability to adapt and learn new product/technology is key

Collaborates with internal teams to produce software design and architecture

As a Node Developer you will be collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and build performant modern web applications and services. Build high-quality web applications and services by writing clean and modular code.

Must have skills

• Overall 3-5 Years of experience in writing unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of web applications and services.
• Measure and improve the performance of microservices. Catalyse growth within the team through code reviews and pair programming to maintain high development standards
