Software Development Engineer

Required Skills for the Java role :

• Experience in Core Java, CXF, Spring.
• Experience in spring boot, microservices.
• Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale n-tier applications for the financial domain. Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
• Should have the ability to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low-latency client-facing applications.
• Good development experience with RDBMS, preferably Sybase database
• Good knowledge of multi-threading and high volume server side development
• Experience in sales and trading platforms in investment banking/capital markets
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Excellent problem solving and coding skills in Java
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Should have the ability to express their design ideas and thoughts.
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a top-tier institute (IIT, NIT, BITS, etc.).

What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable, high-performance components from product requirements.
• Write clean, modular, and extensible code with the right data structures and tech stack.
• Contribute to both low-level and high-level design discussions.

What You’ll Need

• B.Tech/M.Tech (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java (or similar languages).
• Expertise in OOP, multi-threading, and concurrency.
• Experience working with complex systems and large data volumes.
• Prior experience in scalable web application development is a plus.

Required skills

• Proven knowledge of front-end technologies, such as Angular, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be preferred.

• Good Communication, Analytical, Logical, and Leadership skills.

• Ability to manage a hosting environment along with database administration such as MySQL, Oracle.
• Excellent knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP) and Web services.

• Deliver plugins for our Python-based ETL pipelines.
• Deliver Python microservices for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Implement algorithms to analyse large data sets.
• Draft design documents that translate requirements into code.
• Deal with challenges associated with handling large volumes of data.
• Assume responsibilities from technical design through technical client support.
• Manage expectations with internal stakeholders and context-switch in a fast paced environment.
