Senior PHP Developer

We are a promising start-up, operating since 2011, with a list of renowned clients, looking forward for aggressive growth in the coming few years. We want someone with expertise of PHP, good communication & Interpersonal skills, ownership of the job, zeal to learn and grow every day and a passion to make a strong impression wherever he/ she works. We are based in Andheri East, Mumbai. It will be a work from an office job, with a complete freehand, fun-filled politics-free environment, supportive culture and immense chance of growth. There are two open profiles, one senior and one mid-level, both for PHP Developers.

Job Responsibilities

1. Expert knowledge of Web Application Development using PHP6 onwards.
2. Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
3. Must know at least two PHP frameworks out of Laravel, Cakephp, CodeIgniter and YII.
4. Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc. will be an added advantage.
5. Knowledge of eCommerce frameworks like WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart etc. will be an added advantage.
6. Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts & a strong passion for Software Development.
7. Strong Interaction and Design Sense
8. Familiarity with LAMP stack (Apache, MySQL and phpMyAdmin)
9. Comfortable with Linux / Unix based operating system, SQL and Script Programming.
10. Experience in Designing & Developing Database in MySQL is a MUST.
11. Setting up server, Pipelines and deployment knowledge will be a plus
12. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Required Skills

1. Willingness to learn, highly motivated.
2. Fully comfortable in using English. Both in writing and speaking.
3. Not afraid to learn new tech stack.

Desired Skills

1. 1-6 years of experience in Web Development.
2. Candidates with a Lesser Notice period would be preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design overall architecture of the web application.
• Work with UI designers, business users and other team members to develop web applications
• Define, develop and develop APIs
• Integrations with partner APIs and, Database Management
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
• Maintain code integrity and organization
• Work closely with graphic designers.
• Understand and implement security and data protection
• Development experience for both mobile and desktop.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proficient in JAVA with Spring Boot framework
• Proficient using relational databases such as MySQL

• Knowledge on Developing APIs for Mobile Applications
• Should have excellent communication skill and technical skill
• Extensive OOD (Object-oriented design) / OOP (Object-oriented programming) experience.
• Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL), version control tools and of developing web services
• Should have good understanding skill and ability to work independently or within a team and lead a team.
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
• Knowledge of and experience applying design patterns andimplementing industry best practices required.
