About the Full-Time Position

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer to join our fast-growing team on a full-time, hybrid basis. You will be a key contributor in enhancing the user interface of koolio.ai’s AI-powered platform, driving innovation and excellence in audio content creation. You will collaborate closely with senior developers and designers to deliver high-performance, user-friendly web applications that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product and design teams to develop and implement user-friendly web interfaces
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using modern frontend technologies
• Ensure responsive design and optimize web pages for performance and scalability across devices
• Debug and resolve issues, improving the overall user experience on the platform
• Assist in integrating APIs and frontend services with the backend
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in frontend development and suggest improvements to enhance the platform’s functionality

Requirements and Skills:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Work Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience as a Front-end Engineer or similar role with a focus on user interface development
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS or Redux
• Proficiency in frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS) for responsive design
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and integration with frontend applications
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and best practices in code management
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment with distributed teams
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
• Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Other Skills: 
• Familiarity with Figma or other design tools is a plus. 
• Understanding of SEO principles and how frontend development impacts web performance

What will you do?

• Developing new user-facing features using React & Redux

• Build modular layouts, reusable code and libraries for future use

• Refactor, optimize and improve the existing code base for maintenance and scale

• Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality

• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

• Work closely with back-end developers to make sure the user experience is implemented as it was conceived

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, data structures, algorithms, JSX, and Babel

• Complete understanding of ReactJS and its main fundamentals like JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.

In-depth understanding of redux

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS, ES6 (variables and scoping, array methods), code versioning tools like GIT, and NPM

• Good understanding of Promises, Async/ Await and Callbacks

• Should have good knowledge of Socket

• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds

• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming

• Understanding of JavaScript Development on the server side using NodeJS and Express would be a plus

• Knowledge of ES6 would be a plus

• Should have good hands-on experience on MongoDB, designing optimized database structures using MongoDB and writing optimized queries for better performance

• Requirements
  
  • 3+ years of experience as a front-end developer
  • At least one product built and published
  • Proven experience in building/or been a lead contributor in a tech set-up
  • Strong analytical and structural thinking skills
  • Passion to build beautiful, responsive and performant user experiences
  • Strong understanding and fundamentals in Javascript & JQuery
  • Proficient in React.js, material design concepts, UI/UX best practices and design standards
  • Willing to work on pure Javascript based projects as well as React.js based projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in full project life cycle (including requirement analysis, system design, development, and support if required).
• Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other developers to plan project work by providing estimates, risk analysis, technical options.
• Support and work collaboratively with teams across areas of design, development, quality assurance, and operations.
• Help define the vision for a product, identify dead ends and routes with untapped potential.
• Attend meetings to discuss and demonstrate solutions at both a technical and business level.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of web application development experience using at least one of the following: Javascript, Web Components, Angular, Polymer, ReactJS, Redux, LitElement, Svelte, VueJS, or knockout.js. Web Components is used and preferred.
• Experience with SPA (Single Page Application) design and implementation
• Experience with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/ and AJAX
• Experience working with a variety of APIs and RESTful interfaces
• Experience with performance optimization
• Experience integrating security best practices into the SDLC
• Experience with Git
• 1+ years of Agile development experience
• Experience manipulating and working with data in a variety of forms: csv, xml, json, structured and unstructured

Desirable Skills

• SQL experience. PostGreSQL a plus.

React Native Developer with iOS  experience - 6 months contract.

Required Experience : 2+ Years

Job Requirements :

- A solid knowledge of JavaScript,HTML&CSS & React Native

- Experience in native iOS and Android development

- Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming

- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle Android Studio, IntelliJ

Note : This is a 6 months contract position directly under the client payroll.

• MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent
