Senior Android Developer

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Kotlin, Java
• Important libraries include Dagger, RxJava, Realm
• MVVM Clean Architecture
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying mobile applications using the Flutter framework and Dart language.
• Developing user interface components and ensuring cross-platform functionality on both Android and iOS.
• Communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintaining and improving code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Staying updated with the latest Flutter and Dart developments and best practices.

• Writing clean and efficient code for Android applications.
• Atleast published 1-2 apps on play store.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols.

• You have prior exposure to Kotlin, Android SDK.
• Understanding of design patterns and mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM / MVC / MVP.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications.
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• You are a problem solver with good analytical skills.
• Prior experience in accessibility applications or voice-based applications will be a plus not a necessity
• Passion to work in dynamic, start-up environment

• Work with product and UX teams to design, build and extend consumer-facing mobile products.

Requirements:

• Technically Hands-on, prior experience with scalable Architecture.
• Bring 1-6 years of software engineering and product delivery experience, with a strong background in algorithms.
• Excellent command over Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Deep technical knowledge of Android application development.
• Proficient in Java with experience in memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices and embedded systems.
• Strong UI design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively.
• Optimize mobile products for performance and a fabulous hyper-local experience.
• Knowledge about delegates, protocols, notifications, and application life cycle.
• Knowledge about Push notification services.
• Knowledge about third-party SDK integrations.
• Experience preferred 2 To 8 years.
