We are searching for a brilliant, flexible android developer to create novel apps that meet the needs of our target audience. To this end, the android developer's responsibilities include writing and proofreading code, liaising with coworkers within and outside of their department, and monitoring customers' feedback. Over time, you will also be required to create app updates. To ensure success as an android developer, you should demonstrate proficiency in one of the mainstream programming languages, and a sound understanding of the traditional product life cycle. An exceptional android developer will be fearless but respectful in the pursuit of excellence, continually striving to shape the ways in which Android apps impact the world around us.

Responsibilities:

• Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications
• Proofreading your code and correcting mistakes before each app is released.
• Collaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
• Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimising them at the code level
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
• Implementing measures to safeguard users' data.
• Ensuring that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the company's standards.
• Monitoring app reviews to detect areas for improvement.
• Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release.
• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols

• 5+ years of JavaScript experience
• Extensive experience with Angular and Ionic
• 5+ years of object-oriented software development of web applications
• Mobile app development and testing (Android and IOS)
• Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Preferable Experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS, AZURE)
• Experience with MS SQL stored procedures, database design and optimization
• Experience developing and utilizing web services
• Experience with high volume consumer-oriented web sites
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Experience with formal test procedures, release management
• Preferable Travel industry experience preferred, especially programming associated with GDS’s - SABRE, Farelogix, and Travelport
• Ability to distill complex business needs into functional requirements

Software Tools/Languages

Required:        MS Visual Studio, MS SQL Server Management Studio, IIS, AWS, Angular, Ionic, Android, C#, Web Services, MS SQL (stored procedures), Jenkins, DevOps Tools.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in CS, MIS, or equivalent.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Must be well versed with SWIFT & Objective C.
• Expertise in integrating RESTful web services.
• Experience working with storyboard, cocoa-touch, and auto layout.
• Hands-on experience in Cloud APIs, push notifications, social media integration, and payment integration of analytics is an added advantage.
• Experience with automated build and release process (Adhoc release, Final release).
• Has experience in using Maps API, GPS services for the iOS application.
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text, Core Location.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile orientation, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile application development life cycle.
• Must have good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter having the ability to independently acquire the knowledge required in succeeding in his job.
• Good communication skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• The candidate should be well versed with iPhone Application development.
• Should have excellent knowledge of Swift, C++ and OOPS concepts, JSON, Cocoa, GPS, SQLite, iPhone SDK, Xcode IDE.
• The coder should be well versed in using web services, Interface Builder & Debugging tools, Google map kits, multitasking.
• Should have worked on iPhone applications that have been published on the iTunes application store.
• Live Apps.

Simultaneously develop app and target for both Android and iOS using third party SDKs and APIs
