Frontend Developer or Android Developer

Key responsibilities:

1. Creating and maintaining Android applications that are high-quality, efficient, and scalable

2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create new features

3. Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

4. Identifying and resolving bugs and performance bottlenecks

5. Conducting code reviews, maintaining code quality, and ensuring adherence to coding standards

6. Implementing and integrating APIs and third-party libraries

Participating in the entire Android development lifecycle, including planning, testing, and deploying applications

7. Providing technical guidance and support to other team members

Qualification

1. Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, information technology, Engineering or a related field

2. Strong proficiency in Java, Javascript, and Kotlin

3. In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and other various tools

4. Experience developing and publishing Android applications on the Google Play Store

5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration

6. An understanding of mobile UI and UX principles and design patterns

7. Knowledge of version control systems like Git

Solid understanding of software development principles, including agile methodologies

8. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Responsibilities:

• Writing clean and efficient codes for iOS applications

• Supporting the entire application lifecycle from concept to design, testing, release and support

• Troubleshooting and bug fixes for applications, to ensure that codes are clean and secure

• Recommending changes and enhancements

• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols

Required skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• You have prior experience as an iOS Developer

• You have a portfolio of released applications on the App Store

• You are familiar with mobile product and design lifecycles

• You have proven experience in iOS development in either Objective-C / Swift

• Experience with iOS frameworks (Eg. Core Data, Core Animation etc.)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate iOS applications

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing, developing & deploying the product

2. Work as part of a team to build React Native iOS / Android applications

3. Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code

4. Translating wireframes and PSD designs into functional responsive apps, Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs

5. Binding UI elements to JavaScript object models, work with native modules when required

6. Creating RESTful services with Node.js

7. Developing scalable web architectures

8. Working in a cross-functional team to deliver a complete user experience

9. Creating unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of code

10. Being responsive to change requests and feature requests

11. Writing code that is cross-platform and cross-device compatible

12. Co-ordinating end-to-end implementation

13. Release applications to iOS and Google Play stores

• 5+ years of JavaScript experience
• Extensive experience with Angular and Ionic
• 5+ years of object-oriented software development of web applications
• Mobile app development and testing (Android and IOS)
• Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Preferable Experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS, AZURE)
• Experience with MS SQL stored procedures, database design and optimization
• Experience developing and utilizing web services
• Experience with high volume consumer-oriented web sites
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Experience with formal test procedures, release management
• Preferable Travel industry experience preferred, especially programming associated with GDS’s - SABRE, Farelogix, and Travelport

Software Tools/Languages

Education

• Bachelor of Science in CS, MIS, or equivalent.

• Experience in developing enterprise grade Android Mobile Apps, NDK, and SDKs.
• Experience in Rest i.e SQLite, Faragments, Activities, Intents, Google API’s (FCM, MAP, Analytics, AdMob etc.).
• Experience in apps development with Payment gateway Integration and POS terminal like VeriFone/Ingenico/Pax.
• Experience on client-server application involving web service calling.
• Knowledge of Android Life Cycle and Threading Concepts.
• Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of material design, memory management, files I/O, network protocols, concurrency, multi-threading etc.
• Strong understanding of OOPs fundamentals, Java, Kotlin, JSON, Android 5 and above.
• Knowledge in architecting large solutions using patterns, like MVVM, VIPER.
• Knowledge of different screen sizes,andandroid version classes compatibility.
• Knowledge of Third party libraries like Volly, Retrofit, ButterKnife, Picasso.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON parsing, GPS and Google Maps integration.

- Good communication skills.
