
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions,
ensuring statutory compliance (GST/TDS), and preparing accurate financial statements. You will
play a key role in reconciling accounts across our multiple retail and manufacturing units.
Key Responsibilities
●Financial Reporting: Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by
compiling and analyzing account information.
●Statutory Compliance: Handle end-to-end GST compliance, including monthly/annual
filings and reconciliation of GST input books with GSTR-2B.
●Taxation: Manage TDS returns and ensure all statutory payments are made on time.
●Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations,
and inter-branch accounting.
●Finalization: Assist in the finalization of accounts, including Balance Sheet and P&L
preparation.
●ERP Management: Maintain accurate records in the company’s accounting software
(Tally/GoFrugal/SAP) and ensure data integrity.
●Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic reviews.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
●Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com), Finance, or
related field. Inter-CA.
●Experience: 5–10 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the FMCG, Food
Industry, or Manufacturing sectors.
●Technical Skills: * Expertise in GST & TDS laws and filing processes.
○Proficiency in Tally Prime or ERP systems (GoFrugal experience is highly valued).
○Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
●Soft Skills: High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to meet strict
reporting deadlines.
