Senior (Lead) .NET Developer Responsibilities: -

Interface with product owners and software architects to review and finalize requirements

- Participate in the full SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of new features and applications

- Actively lead and participate in agile ceremonies (Standups, Refinements, Retrospectives, Planning, and Requirement’s discussions)

- Communicate effectively, clearly, and thoroughly with the Scrum Team and Stakeholders - Provide innovative solutions to complex problems

- Design, develop and modify software applications/systems according to specifications

- Develop technical documentation including services, object, and data model

- Create high quality code and perform code reviews

- Create unit and integration tests to ensure the code quality and functionality

- Proactively learn and share knowledge of technology and compare advantages and disadvantages of alternative solutions/technologies

- Identify areas needing process improvements and see them through to resolution

- Support and coach other Developers, provide technical guidance

- Help onboard new team members

1. Technical Skills Desired:
   1. Experience in MS SQL Server and one of these Relational DB’s, PostgreSQL / AWS Aurora DB / MySQL / Oracle / NOSQL DBs (MongoDB / DynamoDB / DocumentDB) in an application development environment and eagerness to switch

   3. Write functions and procedures for Middle Tier Development Team

Primary Role

• As an SSRS Report Engineer, the primary job role is to develop a transactional data report using Microsoft SQL Service Reporting Service 2016 or above.
• This includes developing high performing Stored Procedures, Functions, and corresponding reporting formats.
• Required to design the required logics for the queries and collaboratively coordinate with the rest of the team.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

• Design & implement high performing T-SQL queries as per the functional specification.
• Create Technical Specification.
• Effective troubleshooting of technical issues and bugs.
• Package deployment and release management.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• Participate in Requirements discussions.
• Must be able to manage timelines and task priorities.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (or above) and Microsoft SQL Service Reporting Service 2016 (or above).
• Knowledge of T-SQL including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views and functions.
• Experience with usage of indexes and T-SQL performance tuning techniques.

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft SQL Developer to design, develop, test, plan, implement and maintain conceptual and logical database models.

For this role, you should know how to analyze system requirements and implement migration methods for existing data. Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2012 and above is also required. Ideally, you are familiar with database design, reviewing code, writing stored procedures, creating and modifying SQL agent jobs, making structural changes to tables and views.

Ultimately, you will develop database solutions to ensure project information is stored effectively and securely.

Working as Senior Microsoft SQL Developer at Navtech, you will:

1. Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
2. Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
3. Design and Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
4. Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements.
5. Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
6. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
7. Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
8. Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.
9. Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
10. Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
11. Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.

1. 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Development with at least 1 year of Lead experience.
2. Advanced experience in database monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and high availability strategies for SQL Server 2016, SQL Server in Cloud (AWS RDS preferred).
3. Advanced skills in resolving database locking conflicts/blocking and resource utilization.
4. Ability to work with other developers and engineers to analyze database performance and identify problems in areas such as execution plans, index coverage, and SQL server statistics.
5. A thorough understanding of Performance Monitoring, Tuning, and Optimization, using native and third-party monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
6. Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Disaster Recovery (DR) options, Always On availability groups, and experience administering Windows Server, including Active Directory, Failover clustering, database partitioning, security, and encryption (a plus).
7. Experience supporting SSIS, SSRS, replication, database mirroring (a plus).
8. PowerShell scripting experience with the ability to write automated scripts and strong knowledge of system tables and DMV’s is required. (a plus).
9. Administering Microsoft SQL Server databases in a high transaction, 24x7 database environment (a plus).
10. Experience in Postgres, No-SQL databases (a plus).
11. MCSA SQL Server 2012/2016 , MCSE or MCDBA (a plus).
12. Should have excellent logical, analytical, and communication skills with client interaction experience.
