Job Description: As an Android Developer at [Company Name], you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
• Debugging and Testing: Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues and perform unit testing to ensure application quality.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, development processes, and system architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Android Development Experience: 4 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
• Java Expertise: 4 years of experience with Java, including knowledge of Android SDK and core libraries.
• Kotlin Proficiency: 2 years of experience with Kotlin for Android development.
• Android Studio: Proficiency in using Android Studio and related development tools.
• APIs and Integration: Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• UI/UX: Understanding of Android UI/UX design principles and guidelines.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Skills

• Must have experience building apps using fluter, good knowledge on dart. Preferably built and deployed couple of apps both on iOS and Android
• Good knowledge in integrating or developing app functions using firebase
• Must have ported at least 2 applications on iOS and Android platforms. Exposure to the entire build piepline is a must.
• Has good knowledge on how native android and iOS apps work. Must have experience building iOS native apps
• Has an understanding on Computer vision and basic deep learning concepts. Any prototypes of proof of concepts are a big plus.

What they need to do?

• Code - write or learn to write clean code, understand design patterns and develop a quick turnaround time to ship updates
• UI/UX - understand design guidlines and implement them in the project
• Communication - communicate project goals clearly to the team. Understand and convert project requirements in to actionable steps

• Create and maintain mobile applications.
• Contributing to the development of project schedules and workflows.

• Have experience  in iOS/Android apps  with Flutter. Either deployed on the AppStore/Google Play or available on Github;
• 3+ years in mobile software development minimum.
• Two year’s developing Flutter applications for mobile

• Experience with web services integration, REST API framework, social media and other third party integrations
• Write good quality code, unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
• Should have Experience of Social Integration.
• Ready to take complete ownership of multiple products, work alone on project if required  
• Good knowledge in Android services/Framework layer and its debugging
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Shipped multiple Android Applications that are currently available in the Google Play Store
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms and time/space complexity analysis.

• Good problem solving abilities.

• Ability to communicate well with Product and Engineering Team

• Experience with a start-up would be added advantage.
