Responsibilities -

Skills -

• Proven work experience in software development
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and JQuery
• Experience developing highly interactive applications
• A firm grasp of object oriented analysis and design
• Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases

 

Experience - 3 years of experience as a Ruby on Rails developer

Proficient in Node.js - Good knowledge of Mysql/MongoDB/Cassandra/DynamoDB - Expertise in DB Design - At least 2 years of relevant experience - B.tech in Computer Science (or equivalent professional experience) - Experience with modern web application architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku). - Good Problem Solving and Algorithm Skills

* 3+ years of experience with web development building good quality production software
* Proficiency in at least one of: Ruby/Rails or Elixir/Phoenix (Good working knowledge of Elixir, OTP or OO programming)
* Gained good knowledge of working with APIs and performance optimisation to identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
* Familiar with data stores like PostgreSQL & Redis
* You write clean code, automate and continuously deploy it in fast development cycles.
* Experience in designing and building scalable and distributed systems
* Experience with CICD using Gitlab or AWS CodePipeline/CodeDeploy (Exposure to AWS is highly desirable)

What we are looking for?

• 2+ years of overall web development experience
• 2+ years experience in developing scalable and robust web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Experience with collaborative code development in small agile teams and managing releases (Git, Continuous Integration, Capistrano)
• Highly proficient in the data structure, algorithms, design patterns, and databases
• Ability to collaborate with other developers and handle the entire software development cycle
• Passion to write beautiful and scalable code
• A disciplined approach to development, documentation, and code structure
• Experience building internal and external APIs and RESTful web services
