JOB DESCRIPTION: -
Required Skills
● Thorough understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds.
● Excellence in at least one Javascript framework like Angular 4+ (preferred), React.
● Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, lazy
loading, dom optimizations, and AJAX.
● Good understanding of decoupled architecture and single-page applications
● Diligence for coding standards
● Must be good with git and git workflow
● Experience with web engagement tools like mix-panel or amplitude is a plus.
● Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
● Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
● Understanding of build tools like grunt/gulp / webpack
● The person would be a part of the product engineering team and would be responsible
for creating high-performance applications with loads of data and intuitive interfaces.

Looking for a smart javascript developer to work with a team of young team UI developers who are good at CSS/ HTML but need mentoring in JavaScript. You will be required to deliver individual modules as well as mentor the other guys when they get stuck with JavaScript work.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next-generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.

Responsibilities

Understand requirements and translate that to product features.
Should be able to lead a team of developers and designers and communicate status to customers.
Should be efficient in developing and implementing best practices and write a smart piece of code.
Coding standards should be followed, and the code should be highly performant.
Should be able to do impact analysis and document the design of the components.
Should be able to develop reusable components using proper design patterns as listed by lead/architect so that it is extensible.
Should be able to integrate frontend with backend REST apis.

Essential Skills

Strong experience in Typescript
At least 1 - 2 years of experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Angular Js, or React Js
Basic experience in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby)
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize.  

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.

• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

• Maintain and write clean code to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

You will be working with a team of sharp individuals to help propel front-end development. You will be responsible for the code you push out and be proactive about quality amongst yourself and your team.

An ideal Front End Engineer would have 2+ years of experience in building highly scalable UI on the Web/Mobile Good understanding of how the web works and it's underlying communication protocols. Experience with broad range of UI frameworks, libraries and tools including AngularJS, JQuery, SASS etc. Experience in creating complex dashboards and charts working with huge data from backend. Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page rendering, UI performance and security. Good in conceptualizing and coming up with UI designs. Should have good communication skills.
