ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a React Native Developer to be the first mobile engineer at AiRA. You will take our product from 0 to 1 on mobile, working closely with designers and backend engineers to create a fast, beautiful, cross-platform app for Android and iOS. If you have built and shipped apps from scratch before, and thrive in high-speed, high-ownership environments, this role is for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build AiRA’s mobile app from the ground up in React Native, ensuring cross-platform excellence
• Translate Figma designs into production-ready components with pixel-perfect detail
• Own navigation, animations, and core interaction flows end-to-end
• Integrate with backend APIs and handle state management (Redux, Context, or MobX)
• Optimize performance, responsiveness, and reliability across devices
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code with proper documentation
• Establish the mobile development foundation including testing, deployment pipelines, and best practices
• Move fast: iterate rapidly, balance polish with speed, and ship to users quickly

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–5 years of professional React Native experience
• Proven ability to build and launch mobile apps from scratch (0 to 1)
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and component-driven architecture
• Familiarity with React Navigation, Gesture Handler, and Reanimated
• Experience integrating APIs, handling authentication, and managing async storage
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver independently in high-ownership settings

• Experience with advanced animations, transitions, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks such as Jest or Detox

Responsibilities:

Skills & Qualifications

 2 years of experience in software development preferably B2C experience.

 Experience in React native, Javascript.

 Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux).

 Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6 & ES5 ).

 Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

 Experience in working with the MERN stack or similar frameworks

React Native Developer Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications using clean code.
• Use additional JavaScript libraries, such as Redux, to make asynchronous API calls and enhance website loading speed.
• Implement pixel-perfect user interfaces that match designs.
• Diagnose and repair bugs and performance bottlenecks for native-like performance.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and assist in implementing mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves quickly and frequently breaks things.
• Participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups as well as two-week sprints.
• Utilize new, contemporary, smooth animations and transitions to provide a great user experience.
• Plan the data and presentation layers of the application's front end.

React Native Developer Requirements

• Bachelor's/Degree Master's in Computer Science/Information Technology plus 3+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of React tools such as Webpack, Enzyme, React.js, Flux, and Redux.
• Strong command of the JavaScript, TypeScript, or ClojureScript languages and their nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
• REST API knowledge, the document request model, and offline storage.
• Ability to identify with FullStack clients' goals and commit to delivering on the promises you and your team make to them.

We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

• FDesign and implement user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using React ecosystem
