Duties and Responsibilities:-

- Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms (iOS and Android).

- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.

- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

- Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes- React Native moves fast and often break things.

- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

- Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

Requirements and qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in React Native.

- Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript or ClojureScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax

- Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming

- Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code

- Rock-solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts

- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle Android Studio, IntelliJ

- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

- Experiences with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha

- Should have a better knowledge of Redux

- Deep knowledge of component state management

We are looking for a React Native Engineer for our Mobile App. The Mobile App team is responsible for the mobile app used by our B2C users to register as well as complete their journey with Udrive cars initiation to end.

You will be part of our new mobile team which is part of our customer journey domain and you will work together with a cross-functional team

You strive to offer the best possible experience for our customers on mobile devices

You contribute to the implementation of business requirements as well as to architectural decisions

You ensure that your code is well tested, architected, meets our coding standards, and has proper logging, monitoring, and alerting

Your goal is to provide always-accessible information in the most convenient way, to have better engagement and an overall outstanding user experience

 

Your profile:

 

You have experience building high-performance mobile React Native applications on both iOS and Android platforms

Ability to translate Figma based designs to mobile interactions with pixel perfections

You show excellent knowledge of JavaScript and its nuances, including TypeScript.

You have experience with building real-time analytics solutions and streaming platforms

You are familiar with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle and store submission processes

It is great if you have an understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

Tech Skills –

Mobile technology – Hybrid (Ionic / Cordova / capacitor / flutter), Native (Android / iOS) – Expert level – Should have completed 2-3 full sized complex projects with server component, use of cloud services, use of device native capabilities like camera, accelerometer etc.

HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Java script – Intermediate level - Good understanding of concepts and should be able to realize application screens based on the UI provided by designers.

MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular/React, Node.js) stack – Beginner level - Should have understanding of concepts, good with basics

Job Description :  The ideal candidate is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming to help build rich, dynamic client-side applications using JavaScript, leveraging latest technologies React Native & Redux, to launch stunning, usable and scalable products for our users.  You will design digital product experiences across our product suite.  You weave iconography, typography, color, space, and texture together to help users successfully navigate our products. The React Native developer will be focused on buildinginnovative implementations while partnering with front end & back-end team.  Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual and functional elements of the application.  You will own UI/UX designs and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.  Having a passion for what design and UI/UX can bring to an application is extremely important.  Ideally, the person that fills this role could bounce between creating visual designs and production ready code with an emphasis on the latter. Responsibilities:  Develop new user-facing features.  Build reusable code and libraries for future use.  Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.  Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.  Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.  Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.  Stay on top of UI frameworks/technology trends and best practices for web and mobile.  Jump between design and development roles.  Maintain and support organizational UI/UX patterns and methodologies.
