React Native Developer

As a senior mobile engineer, you will primarily focus on shaping our ios mobile experience while demonstrating strong engineering skills across the board. You will architect, develop, and optimize our mobile applications using react native, with a significant emphasis on iOS performance, scalability, and seamless user interactions. beyond coding, you'll provide technical leadership, set best practices, and mentor junior engineers, significantly elevating shoppin's mobile development ecosystem.

Your work will directly influence user engagement with our AI-powered fashion discovery platform, driving innovation in mobile ux, animations, and real-time interactions.

What we’re looking for:

• 2-5 years of experience in mobile development, with significant expertise in react native, especially focused on iOS.
• proven track record of shipping high-quality, pixel-perfect consumer mobile apps, with a priority on iOS platforms.
• strong understanding of mobile architectures (mvvm, redux), with deep knowledge of iOS/swift, xcode, and related development environments.
• hands-on experience with iOS-specific animations, gestures, transitions, and complex ui components.
• expertise in performance optimization, debugging, and enhancing app speed, specifically for iOS devices.
• deep knowledge of api integrations, caching strategies, and platform-specific optimizations, primarily targeting iOS.
• ability to mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and uphold high engineering standards.
• familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, iOS app store deployment processes, and mobile security best practices.

Responsibilities :

⦁ Develop our mobile app using Google's Flutter development framework with modular approach and clean code.

⦁ Write efficient Dart code.

⦁ Integrate API.

⦁ Brainstorm the ideas about new features with the team.

⦁ Closely work with the team to bring out cutting edge mobile experience.

⦁ Maintain source code using Git.

⦁ Focus on understanding customers' requirements and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production-ready code.

Requirements :

⦁ Deep knowledge and Experience in Flutter and Dart (At Least an year).

⦁ Experience building and deploying a moderately complex Flutter app.

⦁ Knowledge of State Management Patterns(Bloc or Provider).

⦁ Familiarity with Design systems.

⦁ Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

⦁ Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms.

⦁ Strong understanding of Dart, its quirks, and workarounds.

⦁ Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.

⦁ Knowledge of advanced Flutter Concepts like factory constructor, spread operators.

⦁ Proficient understanding of cross-platform compatibility.

⦁ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

⦁ Good understanding of UI rendering behavior and performance.

⦁ Experience in creating animations in Flutter.

⦁ Knowledge of Location Services, Maps, and other common Android/IOS libraries.

Good to have:

⦁ Experience of programming in Android and iOS is a big plus.

⦁ Experience in publishing Flutter apps on the Play Store and Apple App Store is a plus.

⦁ Data Modelling and Knowledge of Domain Driven Design is good to have.
