Python - Django Developer

The Role

This role is anything but conventional- It is an opportunity to define and execute our plans and make an impact on the development of millions of children.

As our tech lead, you will work closely with the founders to crystallize and own the product roadmap and then, to bring the product vision to life through simple, elegant design & code that delights users.

You will be the key architect of the product and will help the engineering team build and maintain the product across mobile and web. 

You will own development and delivery of the code- including analysis, optimization and debugging.

Key Skills

3-6 years of experience with backend and frontend web-based application development

2+ years of experience with React / Redux + HTML/CSS

2+ years of experience with Python

Have some experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB)

Have created meaningful APIs and models that are flexible and scalable

• Solid experience in PHP/Frameworks of PHP (Laravel,Codeignitor,etc)
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience in working with REST APIs and AJAX

• Experience of responsive and mobile-first design platforms like Bootstrap
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT
• In-depth understanding of Agile development process

Desired Candidate Profile and skill set:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant software development experience.

• Experience in ReactJs and Redux, React-Native would be a plus

We are looking for a passionate full-stack developer to be responsible for all platform-related duties, from developing designs for complicated applications to analyzing code. The key responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services, optimizing applications, ensuring UI/UX feasibility, and implementing API designs and architecture.

You should know python and use server-side logic. Ultimately, you'll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs.

Selected day-to-day responsibilities include:

4. Testing and debugging programs
5. Improving the functionality of existing systems

7. Assessing and prioritizing feature requests

9. Coordinating with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

VOCSO Technologies is looking to hire experienced developers in PHP to join our growing Organisation. Working alongside front-end developers, designers, and other back-end developers, you will be responsible for delivering fast, scalable solutions to any eCommerce site, mobile app or CMS project given to your team.

1) Work experience in frameworks (Laravel / CodeIgniter / Core PHP ).
2) Work experience In CMS (Drupal / Wordpress) will be an added advantage.
3) Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents.
4) Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
5) Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP module
6) Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenge

Our software developer for full stack role would be required to constantly work on building new features as per discussion with the product team.

Our front end code base is in Angular while the backend code base is in Python-Django.

Pre-requisites

• Expert level knowledge of Angular and Javascript
• Intermediate level knowledge of Python

Responsibilities

• Build new products / features from scratch
• Work on implementing and maintaing ticket booking flow on site
• Work on making existing features faster and better
• Work on reducing response time for all our apis

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-6 years' experience in full stack development
• Hands-on with angular, python, django, mysql, mongodb, redis, rest-framework
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Good analytical capabilities
• Mobile ecosystem knowledge
