Responsibilities:

• Help define and create Backend architecture and deployment using Python- Django-AWS in an agile environment with lots of ownership and active mentoring

• Work with the Product and Design teams to build new features to solve business problems and fill business needs

• Participate in code reviews to create robust and maintainable code

• Work in an agile environment where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life

• Interact with other stakeholders for requirement, design discussions and for adoption of new features • Communicate and coordinate with our support and professional services teams to solve customer issues

Quidcash is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to architect, build, and optimize mission-critical financial systems. You’ll leverage your expertise in JavaScript, Python, and OOP to develop scalable backend services that power our fintech/lending solutions. This role offers

What You ll Do:

 Design & Development: Build scalable backend services using JavaScript(Node.js) and Python, adhering to OOP principles and microservices architecture.

 Fintech Integration: Develop secure APIs (REST/gRPC) for financial workflows(e.g., payments, transactions, data processing) and ensure compliance with regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR).

 System Optimization: Enhance performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud- native applications on AWS.

 Collaboration: Partner with frontend, data, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features in Agile/Scrum cycles.

 Quality Assurance: Implement automated testing (unit/integration), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

 Technical Innovation: Contribute to architectural decisions and explore AI/ML integration opportunities in financial products.

What You'll Bring (Must-Haves):

Experience:

 3–5 years of backend development with JavaScript (Node.js) and Python.

 Proven experience applying OOP principles, design patterns, and micro services.

 Background in fintech, banking, or financial systems (e.g., payment gateways, risk engines, transactional platforms).

Technical Acumen:

 Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).

 Financial Tech: API security (OAuth2/JWT), message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and knowledge of financial protocols (e.g., ISO 20022).

• Strong development experience in Python in the environment of Unix/Linux/Ubuntu
• Strong practical knowledge of Python and its libraries.
• Current working experience with cloud deployment of AWS/Azure/GCP, Microservice architecture, and Docker in Python.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Good Experience of Python with Django/ Scrapy/ Flask frameworks.

• 1-3 years of experience in Ruby On Rails (or a similar MVC framework like Express or Django). You are comfortable with Routes, Migrations, Models, Callbacks, Validations, and so on.
• Ability to design clean, scalable data structures for new features.
• A good understanding of design patterns so that complex processes are written in a maintainable way.
• Knowledge of managing source code with Git.
• Comfortable in a Linux OS.
• Good communication skills, and ability to clearly plan and describe features before building.

• Work on the entire product lifecycle starting from design to deployment and monitoring.

• 2 - 3 yrs of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Rest API, and MySQL.

Requirements:

• Passion for building and delivering great software with a strong sense of ownership.

• Minimum of two years of experience in building web applications using ASP.NET MVC and .NET platform in general.
