• Collaborate with Managers and other Engineers to help define, scope, and implement high-quality features that solve critical user needs.
• Break down requirements into architecture and deliver code, while keeping operational issues in mind.

• Write clear documentation so that other engineers can jump in and get things done.

Job Requirements

• ​​Experience with building backend services. Strong algorithm and CS skills.
• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing large‐scale distributed systems.

We are looking for a PHP Developer with knowledge of the laravel framework and a minimum of 2+ years of work experience in developing PHP-based applications for the specified designs and standards.

* Developing web solutions in PHP/Laravel on the LAMP stack

* Understanding the eCommerce domain and working in close proximity with the Business Owners to discuss requirements and quickly prototype business ideas into applications

* Make the best use of the ORM capability of Laravel and develop project solutions that are independent of the hosting environment and underlying database

* Integrations with 3rd party tools and services

* Troubleshooting and resolution of website performance issues

* Hands-on experience in Core PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS

* Must be capable to handle projects alone.

* Should have handled projects in Agile methodology

Wordpress:

Should have hands-on experience in WordPress & HOOKS concepts.

Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.

- Knowledge of Customization of themes & plugins

- Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level.

- Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions.

- Theme Template integration.

- Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.

- Experience in developing E-Commerce websites

Shopify:

Should have hands-on experience in Shopify API & APP concepts.

Extensive knowledge and experience of building custom stores.

• Java – Spring, Hibernate, Data Structures & Algorithms

  3+ years of experience in software development.

Preferably BE/B-Tech engineering degree, but not a must.
• 3 years’ experience developing server-side Java – Spring, Hibernate and REST
• Full-SDLC cycle, with large-scale live roll-out participation as a developer.
• Expert understanding of the object-oriented design and programming concepts
• Good understanding of relational and non-relational database/datastores/caches best practices and challenges
• Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
• Proficient in Git and familiarity with continuous integration

• As a Senior Software Engineer you will work closely with the Tech Lead, and the rest of the engineering team to build and scale a data-driven platform. This role will act as a great springboard to accelerate career growth & transition into a Tech Lead level role.
• Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, building new services and APIs, developing core business logic, supporting the maintenance of current APIs, reviewing work, and improving the performance and reliability of our systems as we rapidly scale our product and organization.
• An effective Senior Software Engineer will be a self-motivated learner; a highly creative engineer having obsessive attention towards detail and thoroughness.

Must Haves

• You’ve been building web applications professionally for 5+ years
• You’re proficient in PHP 7, Laravel, and PostgreSQL
• You possess strong OOP and design pattern knowledge
• Familiar with modern engineering practices: Code Reviews, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing, etc
• You write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability and experienced with TDD (Test Driven Development)
• You’ve the ability to build RESTful APIs
• Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support team, and fellow engineers is not a problem for you
• Well versed with the fundamentals of computer science and distributed systems

Nice-to-haves

• FrontEnd experience; have built applications in either: React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte
• Startup experience, preferably a tech startup
• Open Source contributor
• You have experience with other programming languages -- e.g. NodeJS, Python, Ruby, Go, C, etc.
