Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Laravel framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality web applications using PHP, Laravel framework, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, secure, and scalable code that meets coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues and provide timely solutions.
• Develop and maintain API integrations with third-party services.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
• Participate in project planning and estimation.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on Laravel framework.
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC design patterns, and software development principles.
• Familiarity with Git version control and Agile development methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Experience in Frameworks: YII
• Must have good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good Knowledge of OOPS.
• Write error free code and follow coding standards. Able to perform Code Review job.
• Work closely with QA person to assist in the testing process. 
• Perform R&D tasks if assigned and communicate with the Designer and UI team.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Able to work closely with the team and meet the tight deadlines where necessary.
• Strong Communication Skills.

• Database experience on any of the following: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server (Preferably PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Ajax, etc.).
• Experience participating in agile and fast-paced software development methodologies.
• Experience in collaborating in a cross-functional agile team
• Good verbal and written communication skills,
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 - 8 years of experience with web application development.

PHP Developer Requirements:

• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Yii, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Previous experience creating scalable applications.
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Ability to project manage.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Lead Engineer - Backend

We are seeking a Lead Engineer (Backend) to join our world-class engineering team building the next generation applications. We're looking for passionate, creative developers who are excited about solving new problems. This position will be reporting to the Engineering Mgr. Work will primarily be in nodejs to begin with.

An ideal candidate would have:

• Excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles
• 5+ years of experience with any combination of backend languages: nodejs, PHP, Java, C++
• Expertise with messaging queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Ability to discuss and design along the concepts of: MVC, REST, OOPS, and productivity, maintainability and scalability of the written code
• Ability to write optimized queries in any SQL
