We have an opening for a driven and motivated software engineering intern in our engineering team. As an intern, you get to experience firsthand how a product company builds in-house software. You should expect to have a challenging and satisfying internship with an opportunity to open doors to a full-time role upon graduation.

As part of your internship, you can:

Work directly on enterprise-level codebase

Code alongside leading developers

Learn what it’s like to plan for, work on, test and release applications

Prerequisites:

Knowledge or strong interest in working with SaaS & web applications

Knowledge or strong interest in full-stack development

Requirements:

Backend developer - Node JS, Docker and AWS knowledge

What you'll do:

· Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development: Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs and related backend frameworks

· Assist in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible

· Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and other engineers on different permutations to find the best solution possible

· Own the quality of code and do your own testing. Write unit test and improve test coverage.

· Deliver amazing solutions to production that knock everyone’s socks off

· Mentor junior developers on the team

· Enthusiasm for cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• 3+ years of working experience using NodeJS
• Knowledge on Express and/or React Js added advantage
• Experience in MongoDB and/or Postgres
• Experience in designing and developing serverless applications
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, Design patterns
• Good debugging skills using modern Dev Tools
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Microservice experience is preferred
• Experience in Unit tests, code reviews
• Experience in cloud platforms – AWS is a plus
• Ability to up-skill in new technologies
• Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills

• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
• Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
