NodeJS Developer

We are looking for a Back-End Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.

Responsibilities- 

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Provide training and support to internal teams

Requirements- 

• Spent at least 3 yrs in a solid back end role
• Experience taking a problem to a product solution (module/product)
• Prior experience working with startups and understand the fast-paced, dynamic nature of work

• Javascript, NodeJS
• Client-server architecture
• OOP concepts, including design patterns
• Understanding of RDBMS (MySQL, Postgresql)
• Understanding of REST API
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ExpressJs

• Knowledge of TDD frameworks mocha, chai, jest, etc
• Knowledge of AWS (Lambda, RDS, EC2, SQS, S3, ECS, etc)
• Basic knowledge of Typescript, NextJs
• Prior experience in fin-tech

Set the bar for quality within the Domain, never compromising software development discipline Share knowledge through documentation, presentations and pairing. Key contributor to technical estimation when requested by Domain Manager To be able to succeed in this role, you must have the following skills and experience… ESSENTIAL: Minimum of 2 years’ commercial experience working as a technical lead/development manager Have experience working with PHP 5.5+ and a strong understanding of OOP Ecommerce development skills/platforms (previous exposure to this is essential) Strong knowledge of working with MVC Frameworks (Zend in particular) MySQL knowledge Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion) API / 3rd Party integration experience Proficient in front end UX technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript Can still remain hands on when needed!

This is a temporary full time/freelancer role.

 

Requirements: 

• - Write well designed, testable code in popular Javascript frameworks like React, Angular etc. and Ruby/Ruby on Rails.
  - A good exposure to both SQL and NoSQL database architectures.
• - Ability to write well documented and testable scripts to automate some processes, preferably using Javascript and/or Ruby.

• - You will be also responsible to train future developers on the platform you'll be working on, once they join your team.
• - At times you will be required to communicate and collaborate with our dashboard implementation partners on a technical front, to discuss roadblocks, potential future roadmaps and improvements, along with our engineering and product teams.
• - You will be required to attend weekly cadences with the team to discuss updates and future goals, brainstorm on some problems and give key updates on deliverables on behalf of the team you'll be working with.

 

• Creating C#.NET windows Desktop (WPF) applications to meet project specifications
